A method of producing a seat reclining apparatus includes connecting one of a first connecting portion and a second connecting portion of a biasing member to associated one of a base member and a lock drive member, with a lock member and the lock drive member supported on the base member, thereby bringing the biasing member to a temporarily held state; mounting the ratchet to the base member so as to cover the biasing member in the temporarily held state; and fixing the other of the first connecting portion and the second connecting portion to the other of the base member and the lock drive member through an opening which is formed in one of the base member and the ratchet, thereby bringing the biasing member to the biasing state from the temporarily held state.

Windscreen wiper arm
10189444 · 2019-01-29 · ·

A windscreen wiper arm, particularly for automobiles, includes a mounting head mountable on a drive shaft and an arm member pivotally connected to the mounting head by means of a pivot pin. The arm member has a substantially U-shaped cross-section near the pivot pin comprising two side walls. A part of the mounting head extends between the side walls and beyond the pivot pin. Protrusion/groove features are provided on the part and the side walls for limiting a pivot angle of the arm member. The protrusion/groove means comprise at least one groove and at least one protrusion cooperating with the groove, the protrusion is movable in the groove between a first position corresponding with a wiping position of the arm member and a second position corresponding with a mounting position of the arm member. The part is provided with opposite abutting surfaces for abutting against the side walls. The protrusion extends laterally inwardly from one of the side walls into the groove being provided on one of the abutting surfaces abutting against that respective side wall. The groove has a width larger than a width of the protrusion.

Apparatuses for layup tooling

A tool for laying up composite material to form a workpiece having a target contour is disclosed. The tool includes a support structure including an elongated member having a longitudinal axis, and support plates connected to the elongated member and spaced apart from each other along the longitudinal axis. The elongated member includes a metallic material. The tool also includes a non-metallic backing structure connected to the support plates, the non-metallic backing structure comprising a working surface that includes a backing contour complementary to the target contour.

Parking system for a pipe racker on a drilling rig

Apparatus and methods include a parking system for a drilling rig. The parking system includes a first track portion extending along a pathway between a well center and a V-door on a drilling rig and a second track portion extending in a transverse direction relative to the first track portion. A trolley is configured to carry a racking device and move along at least a portion of the first track portion and the second track portion between a position in the pathway between well center and the V-door on a drilling rig and a position offline and out of the pathway between well center and the V-door on a drilling rig.

Retaining apparatus for a terminal device that can be coupled in a wireless manner, and method for producing a retaining apparatus

A retaining device for a terminal which can be coupled in a wireless manner. The retaining device has at least one stand part and at least one movable part. The stand part has at least one bearing surface for the terminal, and the retaining device is formed with at least one conductor structure arranged on the stand side. The movable part has at least one pushing element, the movable part being fixed to the stand part in a movable manner such that a variable distance can be set between the bearing surface and the pushing element. A method for producing a retaining device is described as well.

Bracket assembly for media patching system

The present disclosure provides advantageous systems/methods for the design and use of patching systems having one or more bracket members (e.g., Z-shaped bracket members) configured to facilitate cable management. In exemplary embodiments, the bracket members allow a panel assembly to move relative to the bracket members for cable management purposes. The improved systems/assemblies of the present disclosure provide users with the ability to install multiple media connections (e.g., copper-based and/or fiber optic connections) in the same patching system/enclosure.

Modularly mountable cable management systems and associated methods

Exemplary embodiments are directed to modular cable management systems for a rack, the rack including frame members. The systems can include a first support plate and a second support plate. The first and second support plates can be mountable in a horizontal orientation relative to the frame members of the rack. The systems can include a media patching assembly mountable in a vertical orientation relative to the rack. Embodiments are also directed to methods of mounting cable management systems to a support structure or a rack.

Universal clamping fixture to maintain laminate flatness during chip join

A clamping apparatus and method for maintaining a workpiece flatness during processing includes a base having a planar surface for receiving a first workpiece. Two sets of opposing clamping mechanisms are mounted to the base and include a clamp head at a distal end of a rod extending from a housing in removable overlapping relation to the first workpiece. Each set of the clamp heads are in opposing spaced relationship to each other defining a second workpiece area, and the clamp heads are configured to mate with a top surface of the first workpiece. A biasing member is coupled to each of the housings and apply a downward vertical force to the housings, rods, and the clamp heads for applying a downward vertical pressure to the first workpiece. The first workpiece is thereby discouraged from thermally expanding in a vertical direction and is thermally expandable horizontally along the planar surface.
