Mirror mounting assembly
A mirror assembly includes attachments for connecting a mirror retaining plate and a connector assembly, and methods for connecting a mirror retaining plate and a connector assembly, are provided.
Method for constructing cage body of tapered cage assembled in rigid-flexible manner
A method for constructing a cage body of a tapered cage assembled in a rigid-flexible manner includes steps as follows. A cage body of a tapered aquaculture cage is assembled by combining a rigid-structure copper alloy stretched mesh and a flexible synthetic fiber mesh. Pipe rings mounted on the standard component of the synthetic fiber mesh are mated in a staggered manner with plugging rings on the standard component of the copper alloy stretched mesh, and high-performance synthetic fiber rope is rove through the pipe rings and the plugging rings; in this way, the connection is completed. The cage effectively improves the cage resilience under the ocean current condition, avoids mesh sheet deformation or corner breakage, enhances the water exchange capability in and out of the cage body of the gravity cage, and effectively improves the growth environment for the fishes farmed in the cage body.
HOLDING FRAME AND METHOD FOR PRODUCING SAME
Provided is a holding frame for holding plug connector modules and for installing in plug connector casings or for screwing onto wall surfaces, wherein the plug connector modules are inserted into the holding frame and a holding arrangement on the plug connector modules cooperate with recesses provided on opposite side parts of the holding frame. Also, to allow simplified and/or less cost-intensive production with additional flexibility regarding the positioning or omission of earthing contacts, without compromising safe handling of the holding frame, one frame half has a projection in at least one fastening section, which protrudes in the direction of the other frame half and which engages with a recess in the fastening section of the other frame half in such a way that any lateral displacement of the side parts is prevented.
Torque enhanced threaded connection
Apparatus and method for increasing the torque capacity of threaded connections between tubular members. The apparatus may include a first tubular end coupled with a second tubular end, and a torque member wherein the torque member is torqued against the second tubular member and wherein tapered surfaces are engaged between the torque member and the first tubular member at a tapered surface interface.
Active mattress spinner
A device is disclosed for facilitating rotation of a mattress. In order to facilitate rotation, an expandable volume creates an air cushion between the mattress and the box spring under the influence of an air supply which lifts the mattress and allows the mattress to be rotated. One or more covers, which may include a slick surface, may be provided that incorporate or operate in conjunction with the expandable volume. In some examples, the expandable volume and/or the slick surface may be incorporated into the mattress, or box spring or platform.
Long-stroke rolling diaphragm cylinder and methods of making same
Hydraulic cylinders and methods of fabricating hydraulic cylinders, including long-stroke rolling diaphragm cylinders with any stroke length. In some embodiments, the cylinders are manufactured to have a stroke length to bore diameter (“stroke-to-bore”) ratio optionally greater than 1:1. Various embodiments are suitable for use in a passive hydraulic body-powered wearable robot, for example.
ACTIVE MATTRESS SPINNER
A device is disclosed for facilitating rotation of a mattress in a horizontal plane carried by a box spring or a platform. In order to facilitate rotation, slick surfaces between the mattress and the box spring or platform are selectively placed in contact in order to reduce the normal friction therebetween. The slick surfaces may be provided by two (2) separate covers; one cover for the mattress and one cover for the box spring or platform. A first cover is provided with a slick and non-slick surface. In order to further facilitate rotation, a second cover includes a slick surface on one side and forms part of a levitation device. The other side of the second cover may be formed with a slick or a non-slick surface. The levitation device creates an air cushion between the mattress and the box spring under the influence of an air supply which lifts the mattress and allows the mattress to be rotated in a horizontal plane virtually effortlessly. Once the mattress has been rotated to the desired position, the air supply is removed and the first cover is attached to the underside of the mattress so that its non-slick side is in contact with the box spring or platform or bed skirt and its slick side is in contact with the slick side of the other cover and the levitation device defining a normal mode of operation. In a rotate mode of operation, the first cover is attached to the box spring or platform so that its non-slick surface is in contact therewith. Alternatively, the first cover may be integrally incorporated into the box spring or a slick surface may be integrally formed on the platform that forms part of the platform bed. In this embodiment, in order to reduce movement of the mattress with respect to the box spring or platform, the mattress is secured relative to the box spring or platform by removable fasteners in a normal mode of operation. In yet another alternate embodiment of the invention, a portion of the levitation device may be built into the mattress.
LONG-STROKE ROLLING DIAPHRAGM CYLINDER AND METHODS OF MAKING SAME
Hydraulic cylinders and methods of fabricating hydraulic cylinders, including long-stroke rolling diaphragm cylinders with any stroke length. In some embodiments, the cylinders are manufactured to have a stroke length to bore diameter (stroke-to-bore) ratio optionally greater than 1:1. Various embodiments are suitable for use in a passive hydraulic body-powered wearable robot, for example.
Anti-vibration device manufacturing method
Provided is an anti-vibration device manufacturing method of press-inserting an anti-vibration bush having a rubber elastic body famed on an outer periphery of a cylindrical body into an attachment hole formed in a press-insertion object, the anti-vibration device manufacturing method including: a press-inserting step of moving the anti-vibration bush in a first direction to be press-inserted into the attachment hole; a returning step of moving the anti-vibration bush press-inserted into the attachment hole in a second direction opposite to the first direction; and a strain relaxing step of relaxing a strain of the rubber elastic body by stopping the anti-vibration bush while regulating the movement of the anti-vibration bush between the press-inserting step and the returning step.
