Squeezing clamp hammer union torque tool

A uniquely designed torque wrench having a torque body, the torque body attached to a frictional squeezing clamp, and a lug socket which is rotationally connected to the frictional squeezing clamp. The frictional squeezing clamp entering a contracted stated during extension of a rod of a hydraulic cylinder, and entering an expanded state during the retraction of the rod of a hydraulic cylinder, the lug socket turning the wing nut of a hammer union.

ANTI-ROTATION DEVICE FOR CONNECTOR ASSEMBLY AND METHOD
20170328139 · 2017-11-16 ·

In accordance with embodiments of the present disclosure, an improved anti-rotation device for preventing rotation of two joined tubular members of a connector assembly is provided. The connector assembly includes a first threaded portion connected to a second threaded portion. The anti-rotation device includes at least one self-tapping screw installed in an associated threaded bore formed in and tangential to a flange of the second threaded portion. When installed, the at least one self-tapping screw engages a shoulder of the first threaded portion. A partial thread is formed in the shoulder of the first threaded portion by the at least one self-tapping screw, which forms a shear-resistive force that prevents rotation of the first threaded portion relative to the second threaded portion, and thus prevents rotation of one tubular member relative to the other.

An apparatus and method for supporting a tubular medical device, such as a stent or scaffold, includes a rod disposed between two collets. The rod can be shaped to form a range of different size or length helical supports to support a wide range of tubular medical devices. The rod is shaped into a full or partial helix by rotating one of the collets relative to the other.

Fastening arrangement with tolerance compensation, and method for pre-assembly and assembly

The present invention relates to a fastening arrangement for fastening a component A to a component B with automatic tolerance compensation between the components A and B. The fastening arrangement comprises a fixable base element into which a mounting screw can be screwed via a first thread pair, and an adjusting element with an external thread that can be screwed into the base element via a second thread pair, wherein a first and a second anti-rotation safeguard are provided between the base element and the adjusting element, wherein said anti-rotation safeguards can be used to prevent detachment of the adjusting element from the base element during transport as well as locking of the adjusting element with the base element.

Quick connection arrangements with locking mechanisms

Quick connect arrangements for securing together first and second tubular members. A securing sleeve helps secure the connection together and include locking arrangements which ensure that the securing sleeve cannot be inadvertently unthreaded.

Method for influencing the thread geometry of an internal thread for internal combustion engines

In a method for influencing the thread geometry of an internal thread of a first component of an injection device for internal combustion engines, which is provided for carrying high-pressure fluid, wherein the first component has a tubular end portion and an internal thread is formed on the interior surface of the tubular end portion, and a second component having an exterior surface on at least a portion thereof so as to be received in the tubular end portion of the first component wherein the exterior surface is threaded so said second component can be screwed and clamped against a support surface of the first component, and wherein the tubular end portion on the external side is acted upon by a radial compression force allowing a plastic deformation. The tubular end portion is transformed thereby in such a manner that the internal thread obtains an inner diameter (D) continuously decreasing towards the free end.

A sealing system connecting first and second tubular members includes a first curvilinear sealing surface on the first tubular member and a second curvilinear sealing surface on the second tubular member. Both the first and second curvilinear sealing surfaces are disposed between two sets of threading on the respective first and second tubular members. When the first and second tubular members are in a connected configuration, the first and second curvilinear sealing surfaces contact and interfere to form an annular curvilinear center seal. A relief pocket may be disposed adjacent to the first and/or second curvilinear sealing surfaces to contain excess lubricant between the first and second tubular members.
