METHOD OF ASSEMBLING A MAGNETIC RESONANCE DEVICE
A cage with a fastening system (1) in a magnetic resonance device (MRD) is disclosed, said cage in an MRD comprising (a) M pole pieces (45) (M≥2); (b) N side magnets (20) (N≥2), said side magnets substantially enclosing said pole pieces and thereby defining a magnetic envelope and enclosed volume therein; (c) N side walls (10), said side walls substantially enclosing said side magnets; (d) P face walls (30) (P≥2); and (e) a plurality of fastening rods (100); wherein each of said fastening rods physically interconnects at least one pair of side walls, passing through at least one of said side magnets and at least one of said pole pieces.
Pipe support structure
A pipe support structure which is constructed to utilize the Coriolis force and the reaction force caused, thereby making it possible to suppress the hose compliance amount in the high temperature area while maintaining the degree of freedom of mountability specific for the resin pipe and to realize the above suppressing effect by the simple construction and at a low cost.
Scaffolding clip and applicator
A scaffolding clip and a scaffolding clip applicator tool are provided for fastening a web, such as a retaining mesh, to a scaffolding pole. During use a preferred method includes holding the fastening clip with the applicator, locating the web between the pole and the fastening clip, piercing the web with opposed ends of the clip and disengaging the applicator from the clip. In order to subsequently remove the clip from the pole a loop of the clip is engaged by a catch of the applicator and levered from the pole with a heel of the applicator that extends from opposite the catch and acts as a fulcrum.
Shaft clamp assembly and a method of using the same
A shaft clamp assembly has first, second and third members. Each member has respective first and opposite second ends, and an annular body extending between the ends. The second member has a radially outwardly extending flange at its first end, and a radially inwardly extending flange at its second end. The third member also has a radially inwardly extending flange at its second end. The first, second and third members are disposed concentrically in sequence, with a threaded portion of the first member being threadingly engaged with a corresponding threaded surface on the shaft, the second end of the first member presses against the second end flange of the second member, the first end flange of the second member presses against the first end of the third member and the second end flange of the third member presses against the object to thereby secure the object to the shaft.
Thin gel gasket and a method of making and using the same
A thin, cured gel gasket is disclosed, including methods of making the thin gel gasket and the use of the thin gel gasket in an aircraft joint. In one embodiment, the thin gel gasket has no skeleton or other structure and is comprised of only a cured polyurethane gel and has a thickness of less than about 12 mill. It is manufactured using a release film that is adapted in a number of ways to make release from the gel prior to use easier. In one method of making and using the thin gel gasket. it is applied to a joint which is subject to compression, in one embodiment, a lap joint of an aircraft fuselage.
Light beam guided liquid delivery device
A light beam guided liquid delivery device, including: a liquid delivery device; a light beam generator; and a bracket coupling the light beam generator to the liquid delivery device such that a beam of light is selectively delivered approximate to a tip of the liquid delivery device. The bracket couples the light beam generator to the liquid delivery device at a first attachment point. The bracket includes one or more hinges at the first attachment point for varying the orientation of the light beam generator. Optionally, the bracket also couples the light beam generator to the liquid delivery device at a second contact point. The bracket includes a support member at the second contact point for varying the orientation of the light beam generator. Optionally, the support member is translatable with respect to the one or more hinges along a length of the bracket.
Securing seat trim covers to foam cushions
A seat trim cover includes a flexible web and a plurality of molded clips spaced-apart at predetermined intervals along a distal edge of the web. Each of the clips includes a base attached to the web and one or more latch elements extending from the base to a point beyond the distal edge of the web. The latch elements of each clip are configured to clasp a cushion retainer when forced into engagement with the retainer.
Method and apparatus for fitting a sleeve
Illustrative Embodiments may provide for an apparatus and method for fitting a first tube to a second tube. The apparatus may have a first section and a second section. The first section and the second section may engage each other to form a spreine. Each section may engage a sleeve. The spreine may encircle the sleeve encircling the first tube. The spreine may include a slider that may receive a force that may move the spreine and the sleeve, engaged within the spreine, and fit the first tube to the second tube. Fitting the first tube to the second tube may include engaging the sleeve with a first O-ring that may encircle a first ferrule in the first tube, and the sleeve simultaneously engaging a second O-ring encircling a second ferrule in a second tube.
High pressure, high flow rate tubing assembly and adapter for a positive displacement pump
A tubing and adapter assembly is provided that can comprise a plurality of tubes or lumens that can be disposed within a head of a peristaltic pump. The tubing assembly can provide a flow rate or volume capacity that is generally equal to or greater than that achieved with a comparable prior art tube while operating at higher pressures than that possible using the prior art tube. Further, in accordance with some embodiments, the tubing assembly can achieve a longer working life than a comparable prior art tube, and the load on the pump motor can be reduced such that the pump life is increased and/or a larger pump motor is not required to achieve such advantageous results.
One-piece handle assembly
A one-piece handle assembly and a method of assembling the one-piece handle assembly. The one-piece handle assembly includes an outer tube connected to a fixed jaw and an inner tube connected to a moveable jaw. The inner tube is installed within the outer tube. The surgical instrument assembly further includes a handle body overmolded onto the outer tube and a handle grip connected to the handle body. The handle grip controls movement of the moveable jaw along an axis about defined through the outer tube. The one-piece handle assembly further includes a knife plunger for controlling activation of a knife rod assembly. The one-piece handle assembly is void of any welds, adhesives, or fasteners to complete the final assembly of the one-piece handle assembly.
