Tube fitting assembly
A tube fitting for sealing an end of a tube uses a notch formed in the exterior surface of the tube as a sealing seat. An internally threaded body is configured to receive an externally threaded end of a nut, while the body and the nut are mounted in a surrounding relationship to the tube end. A ferrule mounted between the nut and the tube is forced to plastically deform and move into the notch to thereby seal the tube end.
ESTABLISHING FLUIDIC CONNECTIONS BETWEEN CHROMATOGRAPHY COMPONENTS
A thermal module for pre-heating liquid flowing into a liquid chromatography column, includes a trough compartment with two ends, one of the two ends having an electrical socket, a first fluidic assembly, a second fluidic assembly, and a clamp assembly. The clamp assembly includes a rail configured to receive the first fluidic assembly. The clamp assembly includes a carriage slidably mounted to the rail and configured to receive the second fluidic assembly. The carriage is operable to establish a first fluid tight seal between the first fluidic assembly and a chromatography column received within the clamp assembly, and to establish a second fluid tight seal between the second fluidic assembly and the chromatography column. The clamp assembly is disposed within the trough compartment, and the first fluidic assembly is plugged into the electrical socket at the one end of the trough compartment.
Establishing fluidic connections between chromatography components
A clamp assembly includes a rail configured to receive a first fluidic assembly, and a carriage slidably mounted to the rail and configured to receive a second fluidic assembly. The carriage is operable to establish a first fluid tight seal between the first fluidic assembly and a chromatography column received within the claim assembly, and to establish a second fluid tight seal between the second fluidic assembly and the chromatography column.
Crimping tool
A crimping tool is provided. The crimping tool includes a stationary jaw and a movable jaw. The movable jaw is arranged adjacent the stationary jaw, the movable jaw being movable from an open position to a closed position. A linkage is operably coupled to the movable jaw on one end, the linkage rotatable about an axle. A first input member is operably coupled to the linkage to rotate the linkage about the axle, the first input member rotating about a first axis. A second input member is operably coupled to the linkage to rotate the linkage about the axle, the second input member rotating about a second axis, the second axis being substantially perpendicular to the first axis.
Compression tool with reversible block
A compression tool for fastening a cable to a connector comprising an elongated tool frame, an anvil secured to one end of the tool frame, a compression plunger slidable along a portion of the tool frame, a handle set adapted to move the compression plunger toward and away from the anvil and a spacer block for securing the connector a distance from the anvil. The handle set may include a first handle movable from a first position wherein the plunger is a first distance from the anvil to a second position wherein the plunger is a second distance from the anvil. The spacer block may include a first end and a second end having a different depth from the first end and be rotatable so that the first end when rotated to the active position secures the connector a first distance from the anvil and the second end, when rotated to the active position secures the connector a second distance from the anvil.

The movable jaw is arranged adjacent the stationary jaw, the movable jaw being movable from an open position to a closed position A linkage is operably coupled to the movable jaw on one end, the linkage rotatable about an axle.
Luer lock tools and methods of assembling a luer lock fitting
Devices and methods for assembling a luer lock fitting (e.g., fitting for use in a hemodialysis and/or a peritoneal dialysis machine) may include a luer lock tool comprising a tool base including a grip portion adjacent a tool portion, the grip portion having an outer diameter and an internal cavity. The tool portion may have an internal cavity and may be configured to selectively receive and retain a male luer lock fitting at a first end of the cavity. A tool cap may have an outer diameter and an internal cavity. The tool cap may include a recessed portion at an end configured to selectively receive and retain a female luer lock fitting. The tool cap internal cavity may be configured to receive at least a portion of the tool portion of the tool base.

Method and device for connecting a wire cable to a cable guide
A method for connecting a wire cable to a cable shoe for a belt buckle mounting comprises the steps of: pre-bending a retaining portion of the cable shoe to form an eye; inserting the wire cable into the eye; extruding the retaining portion so that the outer periphery thereof is reduced. The extrusion of the retaining portion is carried out as impact extrusion, wherein a form closure is produced between the retaining portion and the wire cable. The impact extrusion is carried out by a tool including at least one edge-free first seat for the eye. An apparatus for connecting a wire cable to a cable shoe for a belt buckle mounting comprises a first tool half including a first seat for a retaining portion of the cable shoe pre-bent into an eye and an opposed second tool half including a second seat for the retaining portion. The two tool halves can be forced against each other with high pressure so that the material of the retaining portion starts to flow. At least the first seat is free from edges.
