Windscreen installation apparatus and method

Apparatus for use in handling windscreens for example for installation in a vehicle, includes a windscreen anchor assembly comprising a windscreen anchor device and a support arm extending away from the windscreen anchor device. A mount assembly is provided for supporting the windscreen anchor assembly. The mount assembly includes a mount structure for engaging with the support arm such that the support arm can slide bodily in its longitudinal direction with respect to the mount structure.

Control panel module assembly devices and techniques

Systems, apparatus, methods, and techniques of assembly of discrete modules of a control panel are disclosed. The modules can be independently wired, tested, and installed into a control panel. Module definitions are defined specifying components to perform the electrical function, a mechanical arrangement of the components, electrical connections, and logical interactions of the module. A bill of materials can be generated based on a designation of a set of modules for a control panel and the module definitions. Modularly assembled control panels are disclosed. An assembly frame is described herein for temporarily mounting components of a module for independent assembly of a control module and for eventual removal and installation into a control panel frame. The assembly frame may include a faceplate frame and side frames and temporary mounting features.

Stacking apparatus and stack manufacturing system

To provide a stacking apparatus and a stack manufacturing system having high accuracy and productivity. A stacking apparatus 10 includes: a stage unit 4 on which a material to be stacked 90 is placed; a sandwiching member 11 that is vertically movable with respect to the stage unit 4, and between which and the stage unit 4 the material to be stacked 90 is sandwiched; a press member 13 that is vertically movable with respect to the sandwiching member 11 and presses the material to be stacked 90; and a guide pin 14 that guides a stack 91a pressed and stamped out of the material to be stacked 90 by the press member 13.

Door separation device that is used for multi kinds of vehicles

A door separation device that is used for various kinds of vehicles to detach a door that is mounted on a vehicle body through a door hinge in a door separation process may include an upper side gripper and lower side gripper that is respectively on a base frame that can be mounted on an arm end of a robot and is movable in an upper and lower direction, and grips an upper end and a lower end of a door, a moving frame that is disposed on the base frame to be movable in a transfer direction of a vehicle body, and an upper side bolt separation unit and a lower side bolt separation unit that respectively has a pair of motorized runners for separating a bolt that is engaged with a door and an upper side hinge and a lower side hinge of a vehicle body.

Piston assembly mounting apparatus for engine

A piston assembly mounting apparatus for an engine may include a robot having two multijoint arms movable in a predetermined range, a taking-out unit mounted at a free end of one of the arms of the robot and clamping and taking out one of a plurality of piston assemblies, and a fitting unit mounted at a free end of another of the arms of the robot, receiving and clamping the one piston assembly taken out of the taking-out unit, and then inserting the one piston assembly into a cylinder of a cylinder block.

TIRE CHAIN INSTALLATION TOOL
20170217264 · 2017-08-03 ·

The tool includes an elongate rigid bar with fixed chain leaders extending from the bar near ends of the bar. A removable chain leader is provided between these two fixed chain leaders. In one form of the invention, the bar is hollow and a pin translates within this hollow core. A slot in the bar allows a proximal link of the removable chain leader to pass into the hollow core of the bar where the pin can removably capture this proximal link. Because the removable chain leader is provided on the bar, it can initially be captured to the bar for use along with the fixed chain leaders to position a tire chain onto a dual wheel pair. Then, the removable leader can be removed from the bar and act as a handle on a middle elongate section of the tire chain to assist in connection thereof.

Method for mutually positioning tubes

A method for mutually positioning tubes. End faces, which includes a generally annular and generally circular end surface near an inner surface of the tube and a beveled edge surface connecting the end surface to an outer surface of the tube, are provided on first and second tubes, respectively. Plural clamping cylinders are engaged with the first and second tubes, respectively. Each cylinder is radially arranged onto and evenly distributed around respective tubes. The first and second tubes are pre-positioned relative to each other such that their respective end faces are opposite each other. At least one radial offset is assessed between the respective end surfaces of the first and second tubes. The clamping cylinders of the first and/or second tube are moved relative to each other in accordance with the assessed radial offset based on an optimization of areas in which their respective end surfaces coincide.
