Windscreen installation apparatus and method
Apparatus for use in handling windscreens for example for installation in a vehicle, includes a windscreen anchor assembly comprising a windscreen anchor device and a support arm extending away from the windscreen anchor device. A mount assembly is provided for supporting the windscreen anchor assembly. The mount assembly includes a mount structure for engaging with the support arm such that the support arm can slide bodily in its longitudinal direction with respect to the mount structure.
Method and apparatus for removing or reinstalling riser pipes of a riser bundle
A method of servicing a pipe bundle or riser bundle employs a specially configured hoist having a rail that supports multiple lifts. A selected satellite pipe/conduit of the pipe bundle is both lifted and pulled horizontally in order to remove it from a plurality of supports that hold the satellite pipes together in spaced apart positions. During removal of a satellite pipe, the lifts elevate, then travel with and hold the pipe as it moves horizontally away from the bundle.

Dynamic magnetic detacher
A system is provided. The system includes a detacher. The detacher includes a field source. The field source is arranged to provide a first magnetic field when power is applied to the field source. The detacher further includes a magnet arranged to provide a second magnetic field. The magnet is movable from a non-detach position to a detach position when exposed to the first magnetic field. The second magnetic field is arranged to unlock a security tag when the magnet is at the detach location. The system further includes an activation device. The activation device includes a processor configured to trigger power to be supplied to the field source.
Mounting tool with plurality of ring band portions with concave portions and notches for clamping an injector
In a mounting tool for mounting an injector on a cylinder head of an engine by being engaged with the injector connected to a fuel pipe, and urging the injector toward the cylinder head, a first band portion has a ring shape so as to surround an outer circumference of the injector, and is disconnected in a circumferential direction by a slit. A second band portion has a ring shape so as to surround the outer circumference of the injector, is disconnected in the circumferential direction by a slit, and is arranged adjacent to the first band portion in an axial direction. Plural elastic band portions connect the first band portion and the second band portion in the axial direction. The mounting tool is made of a single metallic plate.
Methods and devices for crimping self-expanding devices
Described here are devices and methods for crimping self-expanding devices. The crimping devices may be useful for crimping a variety of different self-expanding devices (whether such devices are biodegradable or bio-durable). The crimping devices may have crimping members to engage the self-expanding device to reduce the device from an expanding configuration to an unexpanded configuration. The crimping member may comprise or include a suture, wire, ribbon, guiding hoop, pusher, prong, holding bar, balloon, jaws, combinations thereof, or the like. The crimping devices may also include or comprise a holding structure to hold the self-expanding device in an unexpanded or expanded configuration.
