A method and apparatus is provided for adjusting a latch. An apparatus comprises a latch body, a first member, and a second member associated with the latch body. A receiving area extends through at least a portion of the latch body. The first member is configured to be at least partially received within the receiving area of the latch body. The first member has a first coupling element. The second member has a second coupling element. Movement of the first member along an axis through the receiving area changes a distance between the first coupling element and the second coupling element.

An adjustable support link includes a first rod end including a first shaft with first external threads, a second rod end including a second shaft with a bore having first internal threads, and a barrel nut at least partially disposed in the bore of the second rod end. The barrel nut has second external threads engaged with the first internal threads. The barrel nut having a channel. The first shaft is at least partially disposed in the channel. The channel has second internal threads engaged with the first external threads of the first rod end, such that rotation of the barrel nut in a first direction causes the first and second rod ends to move toward each other and rotation of the barrel nut in a second direction causes the first and second rod ends to move away from each other.

Adjustable support links for aircraft are disclosed herein. An adjustable support link includes a first rod end including a first shaft with first external threads, a second rod end including a second shaft with a bore having first internal threads, and a barrel nut at least partially disposed in the bore of the second rod end. The barrel nut has second external threads engaged with the first internal threads. The barrel nut having a channel. The first shaft is at least partially disposed in the channel. The channel has second internal threads engaged with the first external threads of the first rod end, such that rotation of the barrel nut in a first direction causes the first and second rod ends to move toward each other and rotation of the barrel nut in a second direction causes the first and second rod ends to move away from each other.
Length-adjustable Samer rod
A Samer rod has length adjustable along a longitudinal axis. A first element extends along the axis between a first coupling end and an engagement section end, and a second element extends along the axis between a second coupling end and a receiving end. A receiving hole extends along the axis, inside the first element, away from the receiving end to the second coupling end. The engagement section has an outer row of teeth extending parallel to the axis with evenly spaced teeth extending perpendicular to the axis in the circumferential direction of the engagement section. The receiving hole has an inner row of teeth extending parallel to the axis with evenly spaced teeth extending perpendicular to the axis in the circumferential direction of the receiving hole wall. The spacing of the teeth of the two rows in the direction of the axis corresponds to one another.
Adjustable and lockable turnbuckle
An adjustable and lockable turnbuckle may include an elongated body having internal threading within a first end thereof. The turnbuckle may include a first extension rod having external threading configured to mate with the internal threading at the first end of the elongated body. The turnbuckle may include a first jam nut having internal threading and a skirt. The internal threading of the first jam nut may be configured to mate with the external threading of the first extension rod to tighten the first jam nut against the first end of the elongated body so that the skirt of the first jam nut is positionable about the first end of the elongated body. A first aperture may extend through the elongated body, the first extension rod, and the skirt of the first jam nut. Moreover, a first pin may be positioned within the first aperture.

A flexible joint for attachment to a suspension link. The flexible joint includes a housing, where the housing includes an external surface and an internal surface. The flexible joint also includes a joint insert. The joint insert includes a first section and a second section attached to the first section at an attachment point. The joint insert also includes an inner sleeve, where the inner sleeve includes a first portion in the first section of the joint insert and a second portion in the second section of the joint insert. The inner sleeve also includes a channel, where the channel is configured to receive at least a portion of an external device and an external surface. The joint insert further includes an elastomer, where the elastomer is fused to at least a portion of the external surface of the inner sleeve, a portion of the elastomer is in contact with the internal surface of the housing, and the elastomer is not permanently attached to the internal surface.

A Samer rod has length adjustable along a longitudinal axis. A first element extends along the axis between a first coupling end and an engagement section end, and a second element extends along the axis between a second coupling end and a receiving end. A receiving hole extends along the axis, inside the first element, away from the receiving end to the second coupling end. The engagement section has an outer row of teeth extending parallel to the axis with evenly spaced teeth extending perpendicular to the axis in the circumferential direction of the engagement section. The receiving hole has an inner row of teeth extending parallel to the axis with evenly spaced teeth extending perpendicular to the axis in the circumferential direction of the receiving hole wall. The spacing of the teeth of the two rows in the direction of the axis corresponds to one another.
