Aircraft assembly
An aircraft assembly includes a first body connected to a second body via a flexible coupling that limits separation of the bearing faces while permitting relative rotational movement between the bodies. The flexible coupling includes one or more first flexible straps attached to the first side of the first body and attached to the second side of the second body, and one or more second flexible straps attached to the second side of the first body and attached to the first side of the second body. The bearing faces include planar central portions to react compressive loads while the parts are aligned, and convex outer rolling surfaces to react loads during rotational movement between the bodies, such that a point of contact between the first body and the second body moves along curves of the respective curved end regions during the rotational movement between the bodies.
LED lamp having adjustable illumination angle
An LED lamp includes: a lamp housing configured to have LEDs for emitting light embedded therein, have the front thereof opened so that the light of the LEDs is radiated, have an angle adjustment groove formed laterally and lengthily, and having outside concave-convex parts formed in a convex and arc shape on both sides of the angle adjustment groove; a guide block inserted into the angle adjustment groove of the lamp housing and fixed movably along the angle adjustment groove; a fixing block configured to have an inside concavo-convex part formed in a concave and arc shape under one side of the fixing block so that the inside concavo-convex part corresponds to the outside concave-convex parts of the lamp housing; a first fastening member configured to penetrate the inside concavo-convex part of the fixing block and fastened to the guide block inserted into the angle adjustment groove.
AIRCRAFT ASSEMBLY
An aircraft assembly having a first body connected to a second body via a flexible coupling arranged to limit separation of the bearing faces while permitting relative rotational movement between the bodies in a movement plane so as to define a joint between the bodies.
Aircraft assembly
An aircraft assembly having a first body connected to a second body via a flexible coupling arranged to limit separation of the bearing faces while permitting relative rotational movement between the bodies in a movement plane so as to define a joint between the bodies.
Flexible joint
A constant volume flexible joint system includes a flexible membrane for coupling across a joint and spaced radial support ribs fitted to the membrane. Axial support structures are coupled to the spaced radial support ribs preventing axial deformation of the joint due to a differential pressure. The axial support structure preferably include pivoting sockets and blocks enabling the joint to flex and the flexible membrane to contract on the inside of a bend and expand by an equal or near equal amount on the outside of the bend resulting in a constant volume joint that requires low or no torque throughout the bending motion.
AIRCRAFT ASSEMBLY
An aircraft assembly having a first body connected to a second body via a flexible coupling arranged to limit separation of the bearing faces while permitting relative rotational movement between the bodies in a movement plane so as to define a joint between the bodies.
Link unit, arm module, and surgical apparatus including the same
A surgical apparatus having sufficient rigidity in a fixed mode and being freely operable in a steering mode includes one or more arm modules having at least one degree of freedom, each arm module including at least one steering cable to steer the arm module and a plurality of link units to form the at least one arm module, each link unit including a head disposed at an upper portion thereof and having a hemispherical shape, a seat formed at a lower portion thereof, and a sliding ball arranged at the seat, wherein the link units are arranged such that the head of one of the link units is seated on the seat of the other of the link units, and the head of one of the link units and the seat of the other of the link units are slid with respect to each other by the sliding ball.
