Pivoting connection device providing a connection between at least two components, aircraft comprising a cowl equipped with said pivoting connection device
A pivoting connection device connects at least two components and comprises a guide ring, positioned in an orifice of a first branch of a clevis, which guide ring has a tubular body together with a flange pressing against the interior face of the first branch, a cylindrical shaft connecting the clevis and an arm, having a first end stop, configured to prevent translational movement of the cylindrical shaft in a first sense and a second end stop configured to prevent translational movement of the cylindrical shaft in a second sense, the opposite to the first sense, an immobilizing system configured to immobilize the cylindrical shaft in terms of rotation with respect to the guide ring, the guide ring comprising a first longitudinal groove or slot configured to allow the first end stop to pass.
QUICK-RELEASE CONNECTION DEVICE
A quick-release connection device includes a main load-bearing structural rod, a safety pin, a cam handle, a spring piece and a clamping piece. A free end of the structural rod is provided with a pin hole for insertion of the pin. The cam handle is connected to an end opposite to the free end. One end of the spring piece is connected to the cam handle, and the other end is provided with an insertion hole such that it can be sleeved on the free end, and limited by the pin to form locking connection with the structural rod. One end of the clamping piece is connected to the cam handle or spring piece, and the other end is provided with an opening such that it can be sleeved on the free end, and can be limited by the spring piece to form locking connection with the structural rod.
Quickly adjustable fail-safe link bar assemblies especially useful for connecting structural components of an aircraft
Link bar assemblies are provided to connect adjacent structural components (e.g., components of an aircraft such as connecting an underwing engine to the wing structure) having respective connection lugs. The link bar assemblies will include a link bar having opposed terminal ends which include circular bearings, bushings operatively received by the circular bearings of the link bar, and a bolt and pin assembly inserted through the bushings to connect the terminal ends of the link bar to the respective connection lugs of the adjacent structural components. At least one of the bushings includes a multi-faceted flange and defines an eccentric aperture (e.g., an elliptical aperture having major and minor axes) such that rotation of the bushing allows the eccentric aperture to become aligned with the mounting opening of a respective connection lug.
Reciprocating refrigeration compressor wrist pin retention
A compressor (20) has a case (22) and a crankshaft (38). The case has a number of cylinders (30-32). For each of the cylinders, the compressor includes a piston (34) mounted for reciprocal movement at least partially within the cylinder. A connecting rod (36) couples each piston to the crankshaft. A pin (44) couples each connecting rod to the associated piston. Each pin has first (52) and second (53) end portions mounted to first (56) and second (57) receiving portions of the associated piston and a central portion (48) engaging the associated connecting rod. For each of the pistons a pair of first and second at least partially non-metallic plugs have respective stems received in the pin first and second end portions and respective heads facing a wall surface of the associated cylinder.

Pivot bearing assembly having a pivot pin and having at least one bearing block and assembly method therefor
A pivot bearing assembly includes a pivot pin and at least one bearing block, in which a bearing bush having a bearing bore is accommodated. The pivot pin is slidingly supported in the bearing bore. In order to create an improved pivot bearing assembly, the bearing bush has a rounded outer surface, which is inserted into a negatively rounded inner surface in order to orient the bearing bush.

Wiper connector and bolt-stabilizing sleeve adaptor
A wiper connector arranged to a bolt-type wiper arm includes a sleeve tube, a fastening member and a tube body. The sleeve tube has a tube body, a first and a second flange. The first flange defines a receiving compartment therein. The fastening member has a circular ring body and a plurality of abutting portions, and is fixed within the receiving compartment of the sleeve tube. The bolt is inserted into the fastening member. The circumferential portion of the bolt is tightly engaged by the plurality of abutting portions. The base has a clutching trough, a first and a second restricting trough. The first and the second flanges of the sleeve tube are received respectively in the first and the second restricting troughs, and the tube body is secured in the clutching trough. The instant disclosure further provides a bolt-stabilizing sleeve adaptor.
