Pivot link assembly
The invention relates to a pivot connection type assembly comprising a shaft and first and second connection parts, each receiving the shaft so as to enable them to pivot relative to each other, the first connection part being arranged axially between a first end of the shaft and a radial plane, while the second connection part is arranged axially between said radial plane and the other end of the shaft. The shaft is hollow and includes an inside section that presents a radial dimension at least in a first axial plane and over a first segment of the shaft extending axially between the first end and the radial plane, which radial dimension varies, decreasing on axially approaching the radial plane. The assembly includes a ring interposed radially between the shaft and a bore of the first connection part, and presenting radial thickness that varies.
SELF-LUBRICATING PIN
A pin for a pinned joint includes a hollow body with a first and second end caps coupled to first and second ends, respectively. The body and the end caps at least partially define a cavity within the body, wherein at least one aperture extends through the hollow body. A main piston is slidably disposed within the cavity and divides the cavity into a first chamber proximate to the first end and a second chamber proximate to the second end and fluidly isolated from an environment around the body. A lubricant is disposed within the first chamber. The main piston moves toward the first end of the body when a pressure in the second chamber is greater than a pressure of the environment. Movement of the main piston toward the first end of the body discharges lubricant through the at least one aperture.
System for lubrication pivot joint
A system for lubricating a pivot joint including a first bushing and a second bushing and a pin disposed coaxially within a cylinder clevis, the pin having a first groove and a second groove on a first side, and third grooves on a second side and a bore along a length of the pin from first side to the second side. The first groove is used for mounting a seal. The second groove and the third grooves provide transmission of a lubricant to the first bushing and the second bushing respectively. A first cover plate and a second cover plate are fastened to the cylinder clevis using a plurality of fasteners. The first cover plate includes a first port and a second port for providing the lubricant to the first bushing and the second bushing respectively. A spring is provided between the second cover plate and the pin.
Self-retaining wear-pad leveler
A self-retaining wear-pad leveler has a first plate having arms on opposing sides and forming an aperture through the first plate. A rear section is coupled to a rear portion of the first plate and has tabs extending from opposing sides of the rear section. The arms are configured for being retained about a ball of a spherical bearing assembly, and the tabs are configured to cause rotation of the leveler about the bearing when engaged by a component coupled to and rotating about the bearing.
