Clamp for internally coupling and decoupling two components

A clamp for internally coupling and decoupling two components can include a base fittable within an interior of at least one of two components to be coupled together. The clamp can also include an engagement member movably supported about the base. The engagement member can interface with and engage interior portions of the two components when in a coupled position separated from the interior portions of the two components when in a decoupled position. The clamp can further include a wedge movably supported about the base to facilitate movement of the engagement member between the coupled and the decoupled positions. In addition, the clamp can include a secure and release mechanism operable with the base and the wedge to alternately secure the wedge to maintain the engagement member in the coupled position and release the wedge to facilitate movement of the engagement member to the decoupled position.

The connecting member has a circular shaft portion, and two ends of the circular shaft portion respectively have a cone-shaped stud with a threaded section. Each cone-shaped stud has a socket, and the socket has a positioning end larger than an outer diameter of the socket. The tightening sleeves respectively jacket onto two ends of the connecting member, an end of each tightening sleeve has a tapered screw hole, and another end has a through aperture connecting to the taper screw hole.

A connector (1) and a system for interconnecting tubular profiles. The connector comprises first and second connector ends (2, 3), an intermediate part (4) arranged between the connector ends (2, 3). A first engaging element (5) is movably arranged relative a second engaging element (6), between a non-expanded state and an expanded state of the connector (1). An expansion bracket (7) comprises a distal part (8) arranged at a first distance (a) from the intermediate part (4) and at least one proximal part (9) arranged at the intermediate part (4). A tensioner (10) is arranged at the intermediate part (4) and substantially extending in a transverse second axis direction (Y) relative a first longitudinal axis direction (X) of the connector (1). The tensioner (10) is engaged with the proximal part (9) and is arranged to move the proximal part (9) in the second axis direction (Y) so that the expansion bracket (7) pivots, whereby the distal part (8) gets an increased extension along the second axis direction (Y) thereby pressing the first and second engaging elements (5, 6) away from each other.
