COUPLER FOR CONNECTING REINFORCING BARS
The present invention relates to a coupler for connecting reinforcing bars which is used for connecting reinforcing bars to each other that are used in a construction site and, more specifically, to a coupler for connecting reinforcing bars which has increased strength and excellent fastening force on reinforcing bars through a structural improvement, and also provides increased convenience in assembly, thereby maximizing the manufacturing efficiency. The present invention has increased strength and excellent fastening force on reinforcing bars through a structural improvement to a coupler body, and does not require a separate fixing means by allowing a plurality of piece bodies to be assembled to a piece body guide provided with a magnet, thereby providing increased convenience in assembly and maximizing the manufacturing efficiency.
Torque Transmission Shaft
The torque transmission shaft has a shaft having a hollow tubular shape and a clamp. The shaft has a connecting portion integral with the shaft at one axial end portion, a slit extending in the axial direction in a portion on the other axial end side and opens on the other side in the axial direction, and a female serration on the inner circumferential surface of the other axial end portion. The clamp is separate from the shaft and has a non-continuous portion at one location in the circumferential direction, a pair of flange portions on both sides of the non-continuous portion, and a connecting portion connecting the pair of flange portions in the circumferential direction. The clamp is externally fitted and fixed to the other axial end portion of the shaft and reduces the diameter of the other axial end side portion of the shaft.

Torque transmission shaft
The torque transmission shaft has a shaft having a hollow tubular shape and a clamp. The shaft has a connecting portion integral with the shaft at one axial end portion, a slit extending in the axial direction in a portion on the other axial end side and opens on the other side in the axial direction, and a female serration on the inner circumferential surface of the other axial end portion. The clamp is separate from the shaft and has a non-continuous portion at one location in the circumferential direction, a pair of flange portions on both sides of the non-continuous portion, and a connecting portion connecting the pair of flange portions in the circumferential direction. The clamp is externally fitted and fixed to the other axial end portion of the shaft and reduces the diameter of the other axial end side portion of the shaft.
Splice coupling for connection of tubular handrail sections
An improved handrail splice for use in coupling cylindrical handrail components comprises a generally cylindrical splice having a scalloped outer surface defining a plurality of first and second grooves, with the first grooves being characterized as large grooves circumferentially spaced along the outer surface and a plurality of smaller second grooves disposed between the first grooves. The large grooves are sized to receive and maintain a quantity of adhesive therein to ensure a secure adhesive connection between exterior of the tubular splice and the interior handrail surface. The smaller second grooves receive a smaller quantity of adhesive and further function to anchor the splice relative to the hand rail sections by press-fit engagement. A longitudinal slit bounded by a pair of projecting tabs allows for the temporary reduction of the splice to facilitate inserted installation of the splice within a tubular hand rail component.
