Adjustable drill jig system and method of use
An adjustable drill jig system for drilling holes in a workpiece includes a first T-shaped element having a stem and a crossbar; a first guide engaged with the stem, the first guide having a stop plate extending perpendicular to the stem; a double bracket having a first channel and a second channel, the first channel to engage with the crossbar; an extension ruler engaged with the second channel of the double bracket and extending away from the cross bar; and a second guide having a drill bushing; the second guide is to engage with the crossbar or the extension ruler for placement of the drill bushing; and the adjustable drill jib system allows for drilling one or more holes in the workpiece.
Adaptive manufacturing system
A system and method for processing a flexible part comprising holding the flexible part securely in an unconstrained position using a holder; and controlling a positioner to process the flexible part based on a comparison of a shape and/or position of the flexible part in the unconstrained position with design specifications of the part not in the unconstrained position.
Adaptive Manufacturing System

Precision drilling platform
A method and apparatus for controlling lateral drilling for accurate placement of laterally running conduit for electrical, fluid or gas piping. The disclosure provides a stable platform which is adjustable and may be quickly assembled in a basement or subterranean building area to allow accurate placement of lateral deep drilling to provide connection between a below grade space, through a foundation wall and through soil to place the termination point of the desired hole very close to a target location. The apparatus can be driven with an internal drill or a hand drill to drive a screw-like mechanism forward once the geometry of the intended conduit drilling is set up.
Tooling system and method for removing a damaged or defective bushing
A method to remove a bushing from a bore includes an alignment tool that fits within an inner cavity of the bushing and a cutter tool aligned by the alignment tool. The method includes forming a groove on an inner surface of the bushing with the cutter tool and guiding the cutter tool with a guide associated with the alignment tool.
Head unit, stop holder and method for stabilizing a drilling machine
A head unit for a stop holder for a drilling machine for purposes of compensating for a height displacement between two adjacent components during the introduction and/or machining of a component hole. The stop holder has a front rest section for purposes of resting on the components. The rest section has an axial projection, which forms a second contact surface displaced relative to a first contact surface in the axial direction, i.e., the tool longitudinal direction. Also disclosed is a stop holder, and a method for compensating for a height displacement between two adjacent components during the introduction and/or machining of a component hole.
Eyeglasses with rotationally secured circular lenses, lens jig and method of jig use
Eyeglasses with rotationally secured circular lenses, lens rigs, and methods of use are provided herein. A pair of eyeglasses may include a circular first lens and a circular second lens, each having a lens peripheral surface. At least one of said first lens and said second lens has a line of astigmatism with a prescribed rotational position relative to a wearer eye. The glasses also have a frame having a circular first frame opening into which the first lens is mounted and a circular second frame opening into which the second lens is mounted, each frame opening having an inward frame opening peripheral surface. A lens rotational securing means for securing each of the lenses against rotation relative to said frame, such that the line of astigmatism is prevented from moving out of its prescribed rotational position within its frame opening.
Automated hole generation
A method for performing operations on a structure. A moveable platform may be positioned in an area relative to the structure to define a working envelope. The moveable platform may be connected to a tool that may be moved around a plurality of axes within the working envelope using the moveable platform. The tool may be moved to a plurality of locations within the working envelope using the moveable platform. An operation may be performed with the tool through the working envelope at each of the plurality of locations using the moveable platform.
