Cutting Tool for Trimming Workpiece
A cutting tool includes a body including a connecting end, a cutting end which includes a space for receiving the work piece, at least one projection with a ridge defining at least one cutting edge for cutting the work piece, and at least one slot for allowing pieces trimmed from the workpiece to exit from the body. The space has a top and a bottom and tapers outwardly from the top to the bottom. The at least one cutting edge has a first end adjacent to the top of the space and a second end adjacent to the bottom of the space and extends from the first end to the second end obliquely. The body is rotatable about a first axis, and the first axis extends longitudinally between the first and second ends of the body.
Lug nut removal tool
A lug nut removal tool enables a user to remove a seized lug nut from a threaded stud. The lug nut removal tool comprises a drill bit which is drilled through a guide which can be adjusted in size by a collar. The drill bit comprises a plurality of blades separated by slots; the plurality of blades are mechanically coupled to cutting edges. The guide comprises guide slots which can be used to align the guide about the seized lug nut. In this manner, the user can attach the guide onto the seized lug nut and tighten the guide with a set screw. Then the user can attach the drill bit onto an air drill to cutting edge out the seized lug nut.
Methods for solid state metal repair
A system and method for solid state metal plate repair is provided. A solid state metal plate repair system may comprise a drill, a cutter and a plug. The plug may be configured to fill a void created by the cutter. The plug may also be configured to create a metallurgical bond with the metal plate during a repair operation. The plug may also be configured to shear from the drill (e.g., drive motor) when an expected rise in torque indicates a sufficient bond has been achieved in the repair. The systems and methods described herein may be used on specialty alloys wherein other repair methods are undesirable.

To be able to remove the outside circumferential surface of the pipe in an unproblematic manner and to the desired degree, it is suggested that the cutting element (74) in a front view exhibit a disc or ring geometry and be connected to the housing (12) by a fastening element that extends in the direction of the longitudinal axis of the cutting element, whereby the cutting element can be connected to the housing in the desired position by rotating it about its longitudinal axis.
