Machining station
A machining station especially arranged to carry out deep drill and milling operations is disclosed. The machining station now proposed presents a specific structural arrangement, enables the incorporation, contrary to already existing stations, of an axis dedicated to deep drilling, favoring the use of deep drill tools under ideal conditions, without size restriction. Accordingly, the station is comprised of an operating base, on which there lays an operating module and an arrangement module. This new arrangement for the machining station is therefore more versatile and adaptable to the specificities programmed for each part to be machined.
Apparatus for adding an additional rotation axis to a multi-axis tooling machine
An apparatus for adding an additional rotational axis in a multi-axis tooling machine is disclosed. The apparatus includes a base unit, an indexer disk, a securement mechanism, and a pointer mechanism. The base unit is supported by the tooling machine, and the indexer disk is supported by the base unit. The indexer disk includes a periphery with a plurality of grooves spaced at radial angles with respect to a rotation axis of the indexer disk. The securement mechanism is adjustable to a fixed state in which it prevents the indexer disk from rotating, and to a released state in which the securement mechanism releases the indexer disk for rotation. The pointer mechanism is disposed at the periphery of the indexer disk for releasable engagement with the plurality of grooves. A method for adding an additional rotation axis to a multi-axis tooling machine is also disclosed.
Milling Machine and Blank for a Dental Component
The invention relates to a milling machine for producing a dental component, such as a crown or an abutment for example, from a blank. The milling machine includes a stop and a holder for the blank. The invention is characterized in that the holder is designed such that the holder can be surrounded by a mounting, which surrounds the holder, of the blank, and the surrounding mounting of the blank can be brought into contact with the stop for positioning purposes. The invention further relates to a corresponding blank.

Method and machine for machining parts in bar form with automatic part reversing and recalibration system
An automatic method for changing the machining reference frame on a machine for machining parts from bars, notably extruded or molded profile sections, the part to be machined being held during its machining by at least two distinct and independent clamping means each having a longitudinal movement and a rotation on an axis parallel to the long axis of the part to be machined allowing for a relative angular and longitudinal displacement of one relative to the other, a method whereby, in order to proceed with a change of reference frame, one of the clamping means releases the part to be machined and disengages therefrom to turn freely about the long axis of the part independently of the other clamping means, then aligns itself angularly on new clamping references of the part before retaking the latter and allowing for a change of grip by the other clamping means.
Method and system for introducing recesses in workpiece surfaces to be machined, with the aid of at least one tool
A method for introducing recesses in workpiece surfaces to be machined, with the aid of at least one tool. The invention is characterized in that two workpiece surfaces that face each other are simultaneously machined using the tool in order to introduce recesses into said workpiece surfaces.
