Rotatable self-laminating markers
A rotatable self-lam for attachment to an elongate object can be made by variations to conventional self-lams. In some forms, the rotatable self-lam can be made by folding a portion of the head end of the self-lam onto itself to provide an adhesive-free length which is first wrapped around the elongate object during marker application. In other forms, a bifurcated release liner can have a portion proximate the head end of the marker which can be removed to help template or accommodate the fold to create the adhesive-free length or can have a portion proximate the head end which is retained when the portion proximate the tail end is removed such that the retained portion of the release liner provides an adhesive-free surface during application.
Film for semiconductor device production, method for producing film for semiconductor device production, and method for semiconductor device production
The present invention relates to a film for semiconductor device production, which includes: a separator; and a plurality of adhesive layer-attached dicing tapes each including a dicing tape and an adhesive layer laminated on the dicing tape, which are laminated on the separator at a predetermined interval in such a manner that the adhesive layer attaches to the separator, in which the separator has a cut formed along the outer periphery of the dicing tape, and the depth of the cut is at most ⅔ of the thickness of the separator.
Expandable slit-sheet stock material, dunnage conversion system and method for expanding
An improved expandable slit-sheet stock material is configured to aid in temporarily restricting opening of a plurality of slits of the slit-sheet stock material, such as during winding of the unexpanded stock material or during expansion of the stock material. Each slit of the plurality of slits includes one or more un-slit reinforcement portions, such as reinforcement ties, extending fully between opposite longitudinal sides of the slit, and disposed between opposed transverse endpoints of the slit. The reinforcement ties minimize or prevent tearing of the stock material during the winding or expansion. A dunnage conversion system for expanding the slit-sheet stock material includes an expander having a pair of opposed rollers. The rollers engage the stock material to effect breaking of the un-slit reinforcement portions and expansion of the slit-sheet stock material.
LOOSE-LEAF GLOVE
A loose-leaf glove is provided, including a dorsum top layer and a palm inner layer. The periphery of the dorsum top layer is combined with the periphery of the palm inner layer, and the palm inner layer is formed by plural palm inner surfaces. The peripheries of the plural palm inner surfaces are overlapped and combined. A tear line is imprinted at a place where the periphery of the dorsum top layer is combined with the periphery of the palm inner layer. Each palm inner surface can escape from the dorsum top layer by tearing the tear line apart. The separated palm inner surface is discarded, and a next palm inner surface is used instead.
SEPARABLE COMPOSITE ARTICLES IN SHEET OR ROLL FORM
A series of a plurality of articles includes a panel strip and a plurality of elastic fastening loops. The panel strip includes a plurality of ruptureably-connected panel portions of the plurality of articles. Each of the plurality of elastic fastening loops is secured to a respective panel portion at a bond zone.
Self-Laminating Rotating Cable Marker with Breakaway Portion
A self-laminating rotating cable marker label is constructed of a transparent film having a first adhesive area, an adhesive-free smooth area, and a second adhesive area. A print-on area forms one side of the transparent film, the print-on area adapted to receive indicia identifying the cable about which the marker label is applied. A perforation extends across the transparent film providing a line of separation of the transparent film. When wrapped around a cable, the second adhesive area overlies the print-on area such that the cable identifying indicia is visible through the transparent second adhesive area. As the transparent film is wrapped around the cable, the first adhesive area adheres to the cable. The remainder of the transparent film is rotated, breaking the perforation, whereby the smooth area of the film in contact with the cable provides smooth rotation of the label around the cable.

Method for separating label assembly
A label assembly including a face sheet, a back sheet, and a layer of an adhesive positioned between the face sheet and the back sheet. A separation line divides the label assembly into at least two portions. The separation line is formed by a first tearable line of separation extending across the back sheet and a second tearable line of separation extending across the face sheet. The first tearable line of separation is offset with respect to the second tearable line of separation, and at least one of the first and second tearable lines of separation includes a non-linear portion directed toward and/or an angled portion extending at an angle to an other of the at least one of the first and second tearable lines of separation.
SELF-FUSING SILICONE TAPE FOR SENSING HYDROGEN AND HYDROGEN SULFIDE GAS LEAKS
A gas-sensing pigment incorporated in a thin film indicator or tape that changes color upon exposure to hydrogen or hydrogen sulfide. The gas-sensing pigment is compounded together with a silicone polymer to produce a self-fusing silicone tape having a tensile strength of at least 700 psi, a tear resistance of at least 85 psi, and ultimate elongation of at least 300%. The gas-sending pigment includes chemochromic metal oxide particles of a tungsten oxide or a molybdenum oxide, and a catalyst having platinum, palladium, rhodium, nickel, or silver. The catalyst coating is applied to each metal oxide particle as nanoparticles of less than 30 nanometers in diameter, and the microparticles of chemochromic metal oxide material are less than 200 microns or 100 microns in diameter.
