WEB AND METHOD FOR MAKING FLUID FILLED UNITS
An elongate flattened thermoplastic tube has an inflation edge and an opposite edge. The tube includes spaced transverse seals that define sides of pouches. The tube includes lines of weakness that allow adjacent dunnage units to be separated. A frangible line of connection is disposed in one two superposed layers of the tube proximate to the inflation edge. This frangible connection may be broken to permit inflation of the inflatable pouches.
Hygienic tissue paper
A hygienic tissue paper includes first slits that are disposed in a longitudinal direction at predetermined intervals, the first slits extending in a width direction intersecting the longitudinal direction, wherein the first slits each include perforations, and wherein a cut length of each of the perforations increases from at least one end in the width direction toward a central portion in the width direction.
ADHESIVE TAPE STRIP WITH END LOCATOR
An adhesive tape that provides a unique easy end locator which enables the user to find the terminal end of a tape. The adhesive tape is formed of multiple segments, where each segment includes a backing material that is the carrier of an adhesive layer, with perforations defined transversely across the longitudinal length of the backing to define multiple segments. Each segment has a unique, effortless end locator, a small area free of adhesive, located at the beginning of each segment, being an integral part of the backing material. The perforations may be made at predetermined length between a preceding segment and a subsequent. The predetermined length may be a uniform length. The final product may be carried on a core and formed into a roll. The tape can be used in fields where a predetermined length is desired. The lengths of multiple tapes can cover unlimited areas of use.
Self-laminating rotating cable marker with breakaway portion
A self-laminating rotating cable marker label is constructed of a transparent film having a first adhesive area, an adhesive-free smooth area, and a second adhesive area. A print-on area forms one side of the transparent film, the print-on area adapted to receive indicia identifying the cable about which the marker label is applied. A perforation extends across the transparent film providing a line of separation of the transparent film. When wrapped around a cable, the second adhesive area overlies the print-on area such that the cable identifying indicia is visible through the transparent second adhesive area. As the transparent film is wrapped around the cable, the first adhesive area adheres to the cable. The remainder of the transparent film is rotated, breaking the perforation, whereby the smooth area of the film in contact with the cable provides smooth rotation of the label around the cable.
Interior material of vehicle
An interior material of a vehicle includes: a fabric layer made of a tricoat fabric, a foam layer disposed on a lower surface of the fabric layer, and an antifouling layer disposed at least between an upper surface of the fabric layer or the fabric layer and the foam layer. The tricoat fabric includes a combination of at least one of a polyurethane yarn, a high-elongation polyester yarn, or a polyester yarn.
FAN-FOLDED PAPER WEB STACK
In a zig-zag folded stack of paper web, particularly a stack of recycling paper web, wherein at least one fold of the zag folded stack of paper web is provided with a perforation-tie-row, wherein the ties of the fold coupled to folding-web-she folded above one another, wherein the fold tie in the perforation, each, comprise a maximal longitudinal direction [respective] in the longitudinal fold direction, it is provided that at least one section of a fold comprises a perforation-fold-row of at least five alternatingly arranged ties and perforations, wherein a ratio of a summed up combined longitudinal extension of the folding ties within the section in relation to a summed up combined longitudinal extension of the perforations of the same number within the folding section is larger than or equal to 0.8, preferably larger than or equal to 1.
Separable composite articles in sheet or roll form
A linear series of connected unitary sheet-like articles, each of which comprises a panel flatly conjoined along a unifying flat bond zone with a flexible elastic layer that extends away from the panel and includes an elastic fastening loop. Adjacent articles of the series are ruptureably connected in a manner permitting the series to be handled as a unit while at the same time permitting ruptureable separation of individual articles from the series. In one embodiment, the linear series is wound into roll form.
Linerless packing and shipping label system with folded under packing list
A shipping label is operable to be applied to a package and includes a single label ply. The single label ply presents longitudinally spaced ends, opposite top and bottom faces extending between the ends, and a generally transverse fold line of weakness spaced between the ends. The label ply is foldable about the fold line to define upper and lower label sections, with the upper label section overlying the lower label section when the label ply is folded, and the top face of the upper label section being operable to receive package address indicia thereon. The upper label section includes a separation line of weakness defining a border portion and a separable central portion. The upper label section includes adhesive applied to the bottom face along at least part of the border portion. The lower label section includes a dividing line of weakness defining a connecting portion and an end portion, with the connecting portion extending between the fold line and dividing line. The end portion is at least in part positioned underneath the central portion of the upper label section when the label ply is folded, with separation of the central portion from the border portion providing access to the end portion thereunder.
Strength testing of a flatwise material coupon
One example of the present disclosure relates to a coupon. The coupon includes a first surface with a first circular channel and a second surface opposite and parallel to the first surface. The second surface is spaced a distance D0 from the first surface and includes a second circular channel concentric with the first circular channel. The coupon also includes a toroidal portion between the first circular channel and the second circular channel. The toroidal portion includes a rectangular sectional portion.
Processing 3D shaped transparent brittle substrate
Methods are provided for laser processing arbitrary shapes of molded 3D thin transparent brittle parts from substrates with particular interest in substrates formed from strengthened or non-strengthened Corning Gorilla® glass (all codes). The developed laser methods can be tailored for manual separation of the parts from the panel or full laser separation by thermal stressing the desired profile. Methods can be used to form 3D surfaces with small radii of curvature. The method involves the utilization of an ultra-short pulse laser that may be optionally followed by a CO.sub.2 laser for fully automated separation.
