Gasket material
A gasket material, in which a crosslinked rubber layer compounding 30 to 200 parts by weight of titanium oxide based on 100 parts by weight of NBR or hydrogenated NBR is formed on a metal plate, improves blister resistance, and thus exhibits an excellent effect of preventing rubber peeling of the gasket in the engine and leading to an improvement of engine malfunction. Further, the use of NBR or hydrogenated NBR results in an advantage of low cost relative to that of fluororubber. Therefore, the gasket material of the present invention is effectively used as a cylinder head gasket.

POLYMER SEAL FOR A WELLBORE DOWNHOLE TOOL WITH DIMENSION MECHANICAL PROPERTY GRADING AND MANUFACTURE THEREOF
Method of manufacturing a wellbore downhole tool, including providing a pre-polymer resin and processing the pre-polymer resin. Processing the pre-polymer resin includes applying directed energy from a directed energy source such that the pre-polymer resin is at least partially polymerized to form a polymer seal of the wellbore downhole tool, the polymer seal having one of more mechanical properties that differ along one or more dimensions of the polymer seal. A downhole tool for use in a wellbore, the downhole tool including a polymer seal. The polymer seal is a continuous single monolithic piece, includes polymer structures having a polymer chain including same types of monomers that are bonded together, and the polymer structures are altered along one or more dimensions of the polymer seal and one of more mechanical properties of the polymer seal differ along a same corresponding one of the or more dimensions of the polymer seal.
Dispenser and process
A dispenser (10) for dispensing flowable materials has a container (12) having an outer wall (16) and a membrane (34) collectively defining a first chamber (18) configured to contain a flowable material. The membrane (34) extends from the outer wall (16) at an angle. The membrane (34) has a thickness and a weld seam (40), and the weld seam (40) has a thickness less than the thickness of the membrane (34).

Method of manufacturing substrate integrated gasket
A method of manufacturing a substrate integrated gasket that includes applying an adhesive agent onto a surface of the substrate in a pattern that corresponds to a configuration of the substrate integrated gasket, wherein the pattern of the adhesive agent includes a first section having dimensions that correspond to a length and width of substrate integrated gasket, a plurality of second sections that extend away from the first section, and third sections that do not include the adhesive agent. The third sections that do not include the adhesive agent define a passageway between a mold cavity to an exterior of the mold that is configured to expel a gas from the mold cavity during injection of a molding material into the mold cavity.

The membrane (34) extends from the outer wall (16) at an angle. The membrane (34) has a thickness and a weld seam (40), and the weld seam (40) has a thickness less than the thickness of the membrane (34).
Self-balancing pressure bulkhead
A pressure bulkhead for a vehicle disclosed. The pressure bulkhead is configured to separate a pressurized interior from an unpressurized interior of the vehicle. The pressure bulkhead includes a bulkhead wall having a radially inner disk and a radially outer compression ring. The radially inner disk has a surface and a first thickness and the radially outer compression ring having a second thickness that is greater than the first thickness. The radially outer compression ring defines a periphery of the bulkhead wall and the second thickness of the radially outer compression ring is effective to provide a strength to oppose meridional and hoop stresses across the surface of the radially inner disk in response to a pressure differential across the bulkhead wall. The pressure bulkhead also includes an attachment ring that is affixed to the periphery of the bulkhead wall.
Highly wear-resistant valve seat for use in internal combustion engine
A highly wear-resistant valve seat insert for an internal combustion engine, having a material composition in which hard-particles are uniformly and finely dispersed in the matrix phase, and which is excellent in wear-resistance and radial crushing strength, based on a blended fine powder and a matrix forming powder with a particle size approximately equal to that of the hard-particles so as to prevent the hard-particles from aggregating and thus coarsely dispersing as a hard-particle phase.
