Sprayable water-based adhesive
Water-based adhesive compositions are improved by the incorporation of hollow polymeric microspheres having outer surfaces coated with one or more barrier materials such as calcium carbonate particles. The adhesive compositions exhibit enhanced rheology, sprayability, drying time, tack and storage stability as compared to analogous adhesives that are not modified with coated hollow polymeric microspheres. Such compositions are useful as both contact adhesives as well as wet bonding one-way adhesives.
Sag resistant, formaldehyde-free coated fibrous substrate
The present invention relates to an improved formaldehyde-free coated fibrous substrate. The coating includes a crosslinked binder system which forms three dimensional networks when heat cured. After the coating is applied to the back of fibrous substrate and cured, the coating is capable of hygroscopic expansion which imparts excellent anti-sag properties. The coating is compatible with other coating systems with neutral or mild alkaline pH. The improvement being the binding system is neutralized with a volatile base so that it evaporates quickly so as not to hinder the cross-linking reaction.

A paint composition producing paint films which change from an achromatic color to a chromatic color when the angle of incidence of the light with respect to the normal to the paint film plane is changed. The paint composition comprises (A) glitter material which has an angle-dependent interference effect and (B) metal oxide coated mica and/or metal oxide coated alumina flakes in proportions where the content ratio ((A)/(B)) of the (A) component with respect to the (B) component, as the solid fraction mass ratio, is from 2.5/1 to 1/6 and in which the interference color of the (A) component and the interference color of the (B) component at a face angle of the paint film have a complementary color relationship.

This invention relates to a water-soluble film (WSF) system with embedded/entrapped water-soluble films (WSF). More particularly, the invention relates to a WSF system with actives embedded/entrapped therein such as to provide precise and desired release of actives there from and its method of manufacturing for diverse applications, in which a variety of substances such as detergents, enzymes, softeners, perfumes, pesticides, fungicides, active ingredients, dyes, pigments, hazardous chemicals, active agents for cleaning laundry, dishes, floorings, walls, furniture, fluffs, pulp, etc., and the like can be so embedded/entrapped for such purpose. The invention further discloses novel online and offline process for the manufacture of such multi-layered WSF with or without liners and of desired shapes to selectively entrap interacting/non-interacting materials and their combinations. The process also provides options for the use of a wide range of raw materials, liners such as paper, film, foil, fabric, etc.

Provided is a circuit substrate, including a glass film (10) forming a rough layer (11) after surface roughness processing, a resin adhesion (20) located the rough layer (11) on either side of the glass film (10), and a metal foil (30) located on the outside of resin adhesion layer (20). The glass film (10), the resin adhesion layer (20) and the metal foil (30) are joined together through suppressing. A pre-laid polymer waterproof rolling material, which comprises a sheet-like polymer carrier, a hot-melt pressure-sensitive adhesive layer on the sheet-like polymer carrier, and a plurality of anti-sticking particles on the hot-melt pressure-sensitive adhesive layer, wherein the particle size of the anti-sticking particles is smaller than the thickness of the hot-melt pressure-sensitive adhesive layer; the surface of the anti-sticking particles is coated with an organic layer; and the anti-sticking particles are connected with the hot-melt pressure-sensitive adhesive layer by means of the organic layer; the organic layer comprises the following components: a solvent, a polyurethane resin, a pigment, a filler, a cross-linking agent, an antioxidant, an anti-ultraviolet agent and a thickener. The anti-sticking particles will not shed during transportation and will not be trapped into the hot-melt pressure-sensitive adhesive layer, such that the hot-melt pressure-sensitive adhesive layer is exposed to the outside.
