Interior material of vehicle
An interior material of a vehicle includes: a fabric layer made of a tricoat fabric, a foam layer disposed on a lower surface of the fabric layer, and an antifouling layer disposed at least between an upper surface of the fabric layer or the fabric layer and the foam layer. The tricoat fabric includes a combination of at least one of a polyurethane yarn, a high-elongation polyester yarn, or a polyester yarn.
Elevator suspension and/or driving assembly having at least one traction surface comprising exposed weave fibers
An exemplary elongated elevator load bearing member includes a plurality of tension elements that extend along a length of the load bearing member. A plurality of weave fibers transverse to the tension elements are woven with the tension elements such that the weave fibers maintain a desired spacing and alignment of the tension elements relative to each other. The weave fibers at least partially cover the tension elements. The weave fibers are exposed and establish an exterior, traction surface of the load bearing member.

MULTI-DIRECTIONAL ELASTIC WOVEN FABRIC
This disclosure relates to techniques for designing and manufacturing an elastic fabric, and fabric manufactures therefrom. An example method includes (i) determining a density ratio of the elastic fabric based on a set of rules; (ii) determining a weft density of a weft yarn of the elastic fabric based on the set of rules and the density ratio; (iii) determining a warp density of a warp yarn of the elastic fabric based on the density ratio, the weft density, and the set of rules; (iv) forming warp yarns of the elastic fabric based on the warp density; and (v) forming weft yarns of the elastic fabric based on the weft density. Example multi-directional elastic woven fabrics may have a density ratio of the elastic fabric from a range of 1.1 to 2.625, depending on the weaving pattern and a set of rules disclosed here.
Method of making an elevator suspension and/or driving assembly having at least one traction surface defined by weave fibers
An illustrative example method of making an elongated load bearing member includes providing a plurality of tension elements. A plurality of weave fibers are woven together with the tension elements to thereby establish a weave. A traction surface is established on at least one side of the load bearing member. The traction surface is defined by the weave fibers. Coating the weave fibers with a compressible coating provides an exterior surface texture defined at least in part by the weave fibers.
Woven preform, composite, and method of making thereof
A three dimensional woven preform, a fiber reinforced composite incorporating the preform, and methods of making thereof are disclosed. The woven preform includes one or more layers of a warp steered fabric. A portion of the warp steered fabric is compressed into a mold to form an upstanding leg. The preform includes the upstanding leg and a joggle in a body portion. The body portion and upstanding leg are integrally woven so there is continuous fiber across the preform. A portion of the warp steered fabric includes stretch broken carbon fibers in the warp direction, and another portion includes conventional carbon fibers. The warp steered fabric can be woven on a loom equipped with a differential take-up mechanism. The warp steered fabric can be a single or multilayer fabric. The preform or the composite can be a portion of an aircraft window frame.
Fabric for toothed power transmission belt and belt
A fabric for reinforcing a power transmission belt including fibers of polyarylene sulfide and a belt utilizing the fabric. The fabric may have textured or elastic core wrapped stretch yarns in the longitudinal direction. Longitudinal yarns may include PPS and textured transverse yarns include nylon. Yarns may include blends of high performance fibers and nylon or other fibers.
Composite materials with membrane
Composite materials are described herein. An example composite material may comprise a shell fiber layer. The example composite material may comprise a membrane disposed adjacent the shell fiber layer.
