Seam tape and methods of manufacture and use thereof
Provided herein are seam tapes and related methods. The seam tapes can be compatible with polyolefin-based waterproof/breathable (w/b) membranes, including polypropylene (PP) w/b membranes and/or polyethylene (PE) w/b membranes. Also provided are seams sealed by means of these seam tapes, as well as materials, fabrics, and garments including one or more of these sealed seams.
WATERPROOF MEMBRANE WITH CROSS-LAMINATED FILM
A waterproof extrusion laminated flexible membrane that may be seamlessly applied to an irregularity on a substrate supporting a finished surface for waterproofing that includes first and second polypropylene non-woven layers each having first and second surfaces, a water impermeable HDPE oriented cross laminated film layer, a first tie layer between the first non-woven first surface and the cross laminated film layer, and a second tie layer between the second non-woven first surface and the cross laminated film layer. Other membranes and methods are also disclosed.
Disposable wearable article
A disposable wearable article includes an elastic film stretchable structure in which an elastic film is laminated between a first sheet layer and a second sheet layer. The first sheet layer and the second sheet layer are bonded to each other through holes passing through the elastic film with many bonded portions arranged at intervals. A region having the elastic film stretchable structure includes a stretchable region that elastically stretches and contracts together with the elastic film. The stretchable region includes a plurality of elastic films disposed so as to have an overlapping portion. The number of laminated layers of the elastic film in a region located in an intermediate portion of the stretchable region in an orthogonal direction (XD) orthogonal to a stretchable direction (ED) is different from that in each of second regions adjacent to both sides of the first region.
Elastic member and disposable wearing article including elastic member
An elastic sheet stretchable structure in which a first sheet layer and a second sheet layer are bonded through joint holes penetrating an elastic film at a plurality of sheet joined portions arranged at intervals is included. Joined portion groups in the stretchable region are in a relationship of intersecting a stretchable direction line at respective positions in an orthogonal direction or in a relationship of not intersecting the stretchable direction line at a separation width of 0.5 mm or less in the orthogonal direction of the stretchable direction line. The joined portion groups are in a relationship of not intersecting an oblique line at a predetermined separation width in the orthogonal direction in an oblique line group of oblique lines q in the orthogonal direction intersecting the stretchable direction line within an angle range γ of 45 degrees or less.
Roofing underlayment with hydrophobic nonwoven core
A roofing underlayment includes a hydrophobic nonwoven core layer that provides enhanced resistance to water infiltration. In addition to the hydrophobic nonwoven core layer, the roofing underlayment includes a coating layer adhered to a surface of the hydrophobic nonwoven core layer, and an exterior surface layer adhered to the coating layer. A roofing system that includes the roofing underlayment is also provided.
Waterproof membrane with cross-laminated film
A waterproof membrane includes first and second non-woven layers each having first and second surfaces. A cross laminated film layer is disposed between the first and second non-woven layers. Tie layers are applied between the non-woven layers and the cross laminated film layer. A method of making a waterproof membrane, a method of establishing a waterproof barrier between a substrate and a tile, and a flexible membrane for use in a curvilinear surface are also disclosed.
Vapor-permeable, substantially water-impermeable multilayer article
This disclosure relates to an article (e.g., a vapor-permeable, substantially water-impermeable multilayer article) that includes a nonwoven substrate and a film supported by the nonwoven substrate. The film includes a polyolefin, a nanoclay, and a pore-forming filler.
Vapor-permeable, substantially water-impermeable multilayer article
This disclosure relates to an article that includes a nonwoven substrate, a first film supported by the nonwoven substrate, and a second film such that the first film is between the nonwoven substrate and the second film. The first film includes a first polymer and a pore-forming filler. The difference between a surface energy of the first film and a surface energy of the nonwoven substrate is at most about 10 mN/m. The second film includes a second polymer capable of absorbing and desorbing moisture and providing a barrier to aqueous fluids.
Thermal-insulated wall and liner
A thermal insulated composite wall panel for use in insulated trailers, containers and insulated compartments, including a first liner panel, a second liner panel having a layer of fibers and at least one structural polymer resin layer disposed coplanar to and bonded with the layer of fibers, thereby forming a laminate liner panel, and an insulated core layer disposed intermediate to and bonded with the first and the second liner panels. The layer of fibers is adjacent the insulated core layer and is lofted prior to being bonded to the insulated core layer.
