Machine tool and machining process change method
A machine tool includes: an imaging unit for capturing an image of a tool from a side of the tool; a shape extraction unit for extracting the shape of the tool from the image of the tool captured by the imaging unit; a wear detection unit for detecting the degree of wear of the tool based on the shape of the tool; and a changing unit for changing at least one of the pitch and the depth of cut according to the degree of wear.
Machine tool, processing system, and fitting determination method of pull stud
A machine tool for machine processing workpieces by using a tool having a pull stud at a proximal end portion thereof. The machine tool includes a tool magazine having a number of tool holders each of which is capable of attaching and detaching the tool, a spindle which holds the tool at the time of machine processing the workpieces, and a controller which determines whether or not the pull stud is appropriate on the basis of detected data of a visual sensor which is provided inside or outside the machine tool, and which captures images of the pull stud of a tool holder of the tool, or detected data of a sensor which is provided inside the tool magazine, and which measures length, electric resistance, or electric capacity of the pull stud.
Buffer turret apparatus
A rotatable buffer turret apparatus on which plural pairs of punches and dies to be set on a turret of a turret punch press are set, includes an upper buffer turret on which punch attachment holes in which the punches can be set are arranged circularly, and a lower buffer turret on which die attachment holes that is associated with the punch attachment holes and in which the dies can be set are arranged circularly. The upper and lower buffer turrets are rotatably attached to a single rotary shaft. A diameter of the lower buffer turret is made larger than a diameter of the upper buffer turret. The die attachment holes are formed in a circular die attachment area having a diameter larger than the diameter of the upper buffer turret. According to the apparatus, a tool exchange manually operated by an operator can be done easily and efficiently.
Rotary-magazine tool changer capable of changing tool storage position
A tool changer for a machine tool is provided with a command unit for outputting a change command for a tool storage position to a control unit, which turns a tool magazine with a tool mounted on a spindle and controls an index unit to index a predetermined tool grip portion to a tool change position on receiving the change command for the tool storage position from the command unit.
Machine tool, management system, and tool deterioration detection method
A machine tool includes: a tool magazine that stores a plurality of tools; a spindle that holds one of the plurality of tools stored in the tool magazine; a glossiness measurement unit that measures glossiness of a tapered outer surface of a taper shank of each of the plurality of tools; a deterioration determination unit that determines whether or not the tapered outer surface is deteriorated on the basis of the glossiness measured by the glossiness measurement unit; and a notification unit that notifies an operator of deterioration of the tapered outer surface if it is determined by the deterioration determination unit that the tapered outer surface is deteriorated.

The machine tool includes a tool magazine having a number of tool holders each of which is capable of attaching and detaching the tool, a spindle which holds the tool at the time of machine processing the workpieces, and a controller which determines whether or not the pull stud is appropriate on the basis of detected data of a visual sensor which is provided inside or outside the machine tool, and which captures images of the pull stud of a tool holder of the tool, or detected data of a sensor which is provided inside the tool magazine, and which measures length, electric resistance, or electric capacity of the pull stud.
Control method for machine tool, and machine tool
This method, for controlling a machine tool using a tool holder to which a coolant pipe is attached, includes: a step of detecting, in response to a signal indicating that a tool is prepared on a tool loading station of the machine tool, whether or not an abnormality has occurred in attaching the coolant pipe to the tool holder of the tool while the tool holder is at the tool loading station; and a step of issuing an alarm when the abnormality is detected in the step of detecting the occurrence of the abnormality.
Numerical control device
A numerical control device includes: a tool-side displacement measurement unit; a workpiece-side displacement measurement unit; a drive signal measurement unit; a relative displacement calculation unit between the tool and the workpiece; a relative displacement prediction unit calculating a relative displacement predicted value from the drive signal, from a prediction model representing a relationship between the drive signal and the relative displacement; a model parameter operation unit generating prediction model parameters constituting the prediction model, from the drive signal, the relative displacement, and the predicted value; and a command value correction unit outputting a post-correction position command obtained by correcting a position command to the drive unit using the prediction model parameters. The model parameter operation unit changes the prediction model parameters to reduce a difference between the relative displacement and the predicted value.
