Gas driven motor
Gas driven motors are presented including: a housing defining a circulation chamber and a shutter chamber, where the housing includes an intake port and an exhaust port; a drive axle positioned along a pair of parallel circulation chamber walls and rotatably attached thereto, where the drive axle is perpendicular to the pair of parallel circulation chamber walls; a vane having an attached edge, a leading edge parallel with and opposite to the attached edge, and a pair of vane side edges, where the pair of side edges are parallel with respect to one another and form a matching curve with respect to one another, where the vane includes a curved surface defined by the pair of side edges, where the vane is mechanically coupled with the drive axle along the attached edge.
Reciprocating drive train
A drive mechanism for a vehicle is disclosed, said drive mechanism converting the reciprocating clockwise-counterclockwise motion of an input shaft into continuous rotation of an output shaft by means of two one-way clutches mechanically coupled to the input shaft and the output shaft, said one-way clutches having their power stroke in opposite directions of rotation. In an embodiment, said drive mechanism can be contained in a wheel hub and used for human-powered vehicles such as scooters, bicycles, wheelchairs, rollerskates, or other vehicles.
Dual-speed auto-shift landing gear
A multi-speed landing gear for a trailer includes a housing and a telescoping leg connected with the housing, and a gear assembly for extending and retracting the leg. The gear assembly includes a ring gear arranged to rotate about an axis transverse to the telescopic orientation of the leg member with the gear assembly configured to operate in a high speed setting and a low speed setting and automatically shift between the high and low speed settings, with an actuator selectively preventing or allowing rotation of the ring gear to enable the gear assembly to operate in the low speed setting or the high speed setting. The actuator may be connected to a shift member, with the actuator causing the shift member to selectively prevent or allow rotation of the ring gear by way of engagement of the shift member with the ring gear.
