Drive assembly
A variable speed transmission disposed in a housing includes a transmission input shaft and a transmission output shaft. A power take off is disposed in the housing and includes a power take off output shaft and a clutch/brake mechanism having a clutch input hub engaged to and driven by the transmission input shaft, a cage engaged to the clutch input hub, a brake stator and a brake rotor and carrier being selectively engageable with the cage and alternately selectively engageable with the brake stator. An output hub is rotatably driven by the brake rotor; and a biasing member is disposed between the cage and the brake rotor to bias the brake rotor to engagement with the brake stator.
Drive assembly
A drive assembly is disclosed, with a variable speed transmission in a housing. A pair of clutch assemblies are engaged to a transmission output shaft, and engaged to and selectively driving a pair of axle shafts. A power take off includes a power take off output shaft and a clutch/brake mechanism. A first and a second output gears are driven by the transmission output shaft and disposed on a first and second jack shafts, respectively. A first intermediate gear is disposed on a third jack shaft and driven by the first output gear, and a second intermediate gear is disposed on a fourth jack shaft.
Switchable gear drive for a handheld power tool
A switchable gear drive for a handheld power tool has two gears which are to be engaged via an adjustable switching member, the switching member being in a locked position with a retaining ring which is fixedly held on a housing in a first gear and being in an unlocked position with the retaining ring in a second gear. Furthermore, a spindle for accommodating a tool is drivable by an axially spring-loaded gear wheel supported in the housing, the gear wheel being axially supported on the retaining ring on the side diametrically opposed to the switching member. The retaining ring is designed as a circumferential, closed ring.
Heat exchanging device of lubrication oil
A cooling device for cooling lubrication oil which circulates in a vehicle transmission is provided with a first oil circulating circuit through which a clutch oil for lubricating a first and second clutch of the transmission circulates, a second oil circulating circuit through which a gear oil circulates to lubricate mechanisms other than the first and the second clutches, and a cooling water circulating circuit through which a cooling water circulates to cool an engine and a motor. Also provided is a first heat exchanger exchanging heat between the first lubrication oil and the second lubrication oil, and a second heat exchanger exchanging heat between the first lubrication oil and the cooling water.
Procedure for engaging a form-locking shift element to realize a gear in an automatic transmission, whereat at least one further friction shift element is to be engaged to realize the gear to be activated
A method of engaging a form-interlocking shifting element to obtain a gear in an automatic transmission in which at least one further, frictional shifting element is involved in obtaining the gear to be engaged and a shifting element, not involved in obtaining the gear to be engaged but which serves as a synchronizing shifting element, is actuated in order to synchronize the interlocking shifting element to be engaged. The further, frictional shifting element, involved in engaging the gear, is engaged and then disengaged, to a defined extent, to bring the frictional shifting element to a slipping condition, in order to ensure the engagement of the interlocking shifting element.
