Eccentric tool
An adjustment tool is disclosed herein. For example, an adjustment tool is provided comprising an input gear having gear teeth and an output gear having gear teeth, wherein the input gear and the output gear are in meshed engagement, an input shaft centrally coupled to the input gear, wherein the input gear is configured to rotate about the input shaft, and a housing supporting the input shaft for rotation and supporting a fastener, wherein a tooth of the output gear protrudes from the housing.
Drive device, image forming apparatus, and grease composition
A drive device includes a slide bearing; a shaft that passes through the slide bearing; a gear that is fixed to the shaft; and a grease composition that is held in a clearance between the slide bearing and the shaft. At least one of the slide bearing and the shaft is made of a resin. The clearance is in a range of 10 to 110 μm. The grease composition contains a hydrocarbon base oil and lithium soap serving as a thickener. A weight ratio of the hydrocarbon base oil to the lithium soap is in a range of 94.5:5.5 to 96.0:4.0. A consistency of the grease composition is in a range of 360 to 400.
Power tong unit
A power tong unit having a gear train in which one or more of the gears in the gear train have removable and replacement roller tooth elements, in lieu of conventional gear teeth. In one embodiment, the ring gear and pinion gears have roller tooth elements, and idler gears disposed between the ring gear and pinion gears, have a semi-circular tooth root profile to mesh with the roller element gear teeth. The ring gear of the power tong unit may also have a removable section. A means for removing the removable section from the ring gear, and moving it to a position in which a tubular can be inserted into a central opening in the ring gear, may include a hydraulic cylinder, a clamping mechanism, and a cam surface to generate rotation of the removable section once lifted out of engagement with the ring gear.
Modular pump design
Modular pumps comprising universal gearboxes and crank units and associated methods.
Steering angle sensor
A steering angle sensor, equipped for installation in a steering arrangement of a motor vehicle, is provided. The steering angle sensor comprises a rotatably mounted first gearwheel which upon actuation of the steering arrangement rotates about an axis and at least one rotatably mounted second gearwheel which is in engagement with the first gearwheel and is carried along with a rotary movement of the first gearwheel, so that with reference to a rotary movement of the second gearwheel a steering angle of the steering arrangement can be determined. The teeth of at least one of the gearwheels are tapered in axial direction along the tooth width such that a respective tooth of the one gearwheel, which is tapered along the tooth width, with wedge action can be fitted into a tooth gap of the gearwheel in engagement therewith.
Transmission device and portable boring-welding apparatus using the same
There is provided a transmission device comprising a rigid casing configured to be mounted perpendicularly on a pair of parallel rotatable driving and driven shafts. Annular driving and driven gears are provided in the casing. The annular driving gear is adapted for rotating simultaneously with the driving shaft, and is also adapted for forwarding rotational motion of the inner section to a transmission device. The annular driven gear is adapted for engaging and rotating simultaneously with the driving shaft and sliding over the same, and for forwarding to the inner section rotational motion received from the transmission device. The transmission device is rotatively connected to the annular driving and driven gears for transmitting rotational movement of the driving shaft to the driven shaft. There is also provided a portable boring-welding apparatus using this transmission device and a method for rotating a driven shaft using a parallel driving shaft.
Power transmission gear unit and vehicle instrument
Hemispherical protrusions are protrudingly provided in end surfaces of a rotor gear and a tooth portion of a small gear having the smaller number of gear teeth between the rotor gear and a large gear of an intermediate gear, and between the small gear of the intermediate gear and an output gear, which are meshed with each other in a transmission gear train. Thus, in a case where the large gear rides on the rotor gear or the small gear rides on the output gear when the intermediate gear is accommodated in a housing after the rotor gear and the output gear are accommodated, it is possible to cancel the riding state thereof only by applying a slight vibration to the housing.
Stepper motor
A resin portion of an output shaft has a large diameter section, from which one end portion of a rod outwardly projects, and an intermediate diameter section, which extends from the large diameter section in an axial direction and is rotatably supported by a housing. A gear portion is formed in an outer peripheral surface of the large diameter section and is meshed with a final gear. A recess is recessed in the axial direction in the large diameter section and extends in the circumferential direction along an entire circumferential extent of the rod. The intermediate diameter section is continuously filled with resin in a region, which extends from an outer peripheral surface of the rod to an outer peripheral surface of the intermediate diameter section in the radial direction, along the entire circumferential extent of the rod.
Tapping machine and tap die, and method of detecting overstroke of tap
A tapping tool is mountable on an adapter for tapping. The adapter includes a ring gear in which the tapping tool is mountable; and a gear holder in which the ring gear is disposed and which is mountable on a turret of a turret punch press so as to locate the disposed ring gear at a position corresponding to a punch mounting section formed in advance in the turret. The tapping tool includes a cylindrical body and a rotating body.
