FIBER REINFORCED RESIN GEAR, METHOD OF FORMING FIBER REINFORCED RESIN GEAR BY INJECTION MOLDING, FIBER REINFORCED RESIN ROTARY BODY, METHOD OF FORMING FIBER REINFORCED RESIN ROTARY BODY BY INJECTION MOLDING
Plural ejector pins are made to project before a molten resin containing reinforcing fibers is injected into an inside of a cavity through pin point gates in a web forming portion in the inside of the cavity and at positions outside the pin point gates in a radial direction. The ejector pins are retracted from the inside of the cavity after a flow of the molten resin containing reinforcing fibers injected into the inside of the cavity through the pin point gates impinges on the ejector pins and is divided and before a tooth portion forming portion in the inside of the cavity is filled with the molten resin containing reinforcing fibers. Accordingly, weld lines which extend along the radial direction are formed at positions outside the ejector pins in the radial direction, and the molten resin is filled in portions formed after the ejector pins are retracted.
Method For Fixing A Bushing In A Through Bore Of A Gear Of The Idler Gear Assembly
An idler gear assembly, as well as an internal combustion engine comprising the idler gear assembly, and a method for fixing a bushing in a through bore of a gear of the idler gear assembly
Gear motor assembly
A gear motor assembly includes a casing having a through hole, a motor fixed to the casing, an output shaft, a gear fixed to the output shaft and driven by the motor, and a substantially tubular bearing fixed in the through hole of the casing. The gear has a central hub which has an axial end surface, and a shaft portion extending from a central portion of the axial end surface of the central hub. The shaft portion is sleeved in the bearing. A slot is formed in the outer surface of the shaft portion and is filled with lubricant. The slot extends from a free end of the shaft portion to a joint between the outer surface of the shaft portion and the axial end surface of the central hub.
Method of making a pinion for being assembled on a turbine axis of an internal combustion engine
A pinion to be fitted on a turbine axis of an internal combustion engine, wherein said pinion is made in a single piece, equipped with an axial thread to screw it on said axis of the turbine, wherein an axial end of the pinion integrates/defines a disc spring.
WORM GEAR HUB
A method of making a worm gear. The method includes forming a gear blank having a plurality of individual lugs formed about an outer circumferential edge of said blank to facilitate a uniform flow of a material around said plurality of individual lugs. The method also includes molding said material around said plurality of individual lugs to form a ring.
Flexplates and method for capacitor discharge welding of flexplates
A two-piece flexplate assembly having a ring gear welded to a central plate using a capacitor discharge welding process. The weld is established between a joining structure defined between the ring gear and the central plate using either an overlap arrangement, a projection arrangement, or a chamfer arrangement.
Forged composite inner race for a CVJ
A forged composite inner race for a constant velocity joint is forged from a composite preform compact including a first powder metal material and a second powder metal material. The forged composite inner race includes a plurality of ball tracks formed on an outer section of the forged composite inner race with corresponding lands between adjacent ball tracks and an axially-extending splined opening formed in an inner section of the forged composite inner race. The outer section comprises the first powder metal material in a higher concentration than the second powder metal material and the inner section comprises the second powder metal material in a higher concentration than the first powder metal material.
Hypoid gear design method and hypoid gear
A degree of freedom of a hypoid gear is improved. An instantaneous axis in a relative rotation of a gear axis and a pinion axis, a line of centers, an intersection between the instantaneous axis and the line of centers, and an inclination angle of the instantaneous axis with respect to the rotation axis of the gear are calculated based on a shaft angle, an offset, and a gear ratio of a hypoid gear. Based on these variables, base coordinate systems are determined, and the specifications are calculated using these coordinate systems. For the spiral angles, pitch cone angles, and reference circle radii of the gear and pinion, one of the values for the gear and the pinion is set and a design reference point is calculated. Based on the design reference point and a contact normal of the gear, specifications are calculated. The pitch cone angle of the gear or the pinion can be freely selected.
Transmission
A transmission, in particular a coaxial transmission or linear transmission, comprising a toothing, a tooth holder in which a plurality of tooth segments are accommodated to engage with the toothing, wherein the tooth segments are borne to be radially shiftable relative to the tooth holder, a drive element having a profiling for radially driving the tooth segments borne in a radially shiftable manner, wherein the transmission has inner initial stress.
