A vehicle shift control lever device may be provided that includes: a transmission rod; a detent pin which is disposed under the transmission rod in such a manner as to move in up-and-down and back-and-forth directions; and a groove member which has a groove formed therein which guides the detent pin. The groove member includes a first stable position a at which the detent pin is placed when a shift position is R, D, M or N-shift positions and a second stable position b at which the detent pin is placed when the shift position is a P-shift position.

A stealthy transmission shift interlock solenoid kill switch system includes a first stealthy user interface being located within the vehicle and further being configured to be stealthy and hidden from a vehicle driver's line of sight, a vehicle center console transmission gear shift knob configured to operate an automatic transmission gear position of the vehicle, a vehicle power interrupt feature, an automatic transmission shift interlock solenoid switch, a controller being operably coupled to the first stealthy user interface, a brake pedal of the vehicle, and the vehicle power interrupt feature. The controller is configured to manage an operating mode of the vehicle center console transmission gear shift knob and thereby prohibit power from reaching the automatic transmission shift interlock solenoid switch so that the vehicle center console transmission gear shift knob is prohibited from being displaced out of a park position.
Shift device
A shift device is configured including a restriction member and a release section. The restriction member stops a detent pin that has been moved at a release position, restricting movement of a shift lever to a third shift position when the shift lever is moved from a first shift position to a second shift position. When the shift lever has been moved at the second shift position, by the detent pin being moved to the release position from a non-release position, the release section releases the restriction of movement of the shift lever toward the third shift position by the restriction member.

A shift/tilt locking apparatus for shift lever of automatic transmission may include a shift knob, a main shaft slidably and rotatably disposed in a housing such that shift knob is slidable; a crossbar having shift knob at the upper end to tilt; a shift restriction device that allows shift knob to slide by selectively restricting sliding of main shaft; and a tilting restriction device controlling shift knob to tilt by selectively restricting the tilting of shift knob by using a third solenoid, which is controlled by a shift mode determining step that determines a shift mode by checking the position of shift knob and a lever locking step that restricts/releases shift knob by selectively operating first solenoid to third solenoid.
Device and method for driving shift lever
Disclosed are device and method for driving a shift lever. The device may include a control unit that sets a travel distance of the shift lever when the shift lever is manipulated to a predetermined shift stage to be different than a reference travel distance of the shift lever, which is a travel distance of the shift lever when the shift lever is manipulated to shift stages other than the predetermined shift stage. The device may further include a driving unit which restricts a travel of the shift lever or moves the shift lever depending on a setting of the control unit.
