Customizable pedal system
A pedal system includes a support base; a first lever that is pivotally mounted to the support base; a second lever that is pivotally mounted to the support base; a first pedal coupled to the first lever and configured to be engaged by a foot of a user to rotate the first lever: a second pedal coupled to the second lever and configured to be engaged by a foot of the user to rotate the second lever, and an adjustment assembly configured to adjust a default rotational orientation, about an axis of rotation, of the first and the second lever, the first and the second lever positioned at the default orientation when no external force is applied to the first and the second lever.
Bail compensation joint for rail vehicles
A bail compensating joint may include a threaded push rod, a ratchet in threaded connection with the push rod for rotational motion thereon, and a helical joint including a first bearing and a second bearing mounted on the ratchet for facilitating rotation of the ratchet. The second bearing is supported by an annular composite race member formed by a metal annular inner race member joined with a resiliently deformable annular outer member. In another embodiment of the bail compensating joint, a pair of spherical joints is disposed on opposite sides of the ratchet, the spherical joints supporting the respective first and second bearings.
Combined reverse engagement activation and parking brake lever and methods of operation and manufacture of the same
An apparatus may, for example, include a first lever pivoting about a first axis. The apparatus may also include a second lever mounted with the first lever, pivoting about a second axis, and biased to a first position. The first lever can be configured to engage a braking system of a vehicle when the first lever is pivoted about the first axis and the second lever is in the first position. The second lever can be configured to be pivoted about the second axis to a second position. The first lever can be configured to disengage a reverse lockout system of the vehicle when the second lever is in the second position. The second lever can be configured to be pivoted about the second axis to a third position, which cases the first lever to engage a parking brake mechanism of the vehicle.
Vehicle steering handle
A vehicle steering handle, comprising: a steering wheel that is an isosceles trapezoidal annular body composed of an upper bottom portion, a lower bottom portion longer than the upper bottom portion, and left and right leg portions; an accelerator lever attached to the right leg portion; and a brake lever attached to the left leg portion and the right leg portion.
