A lever latching system comprising: a housing; a lever having a latch pin fixedly mounted to the lever, the lever being movably mounted to the housing so that the latch pin moves in an arc; and a latch plate movably mounted to the housing for linear movement with respect to the housing, the latch plate comprising a labyrinth for receiving the latch pin.

A lever latching system comprising: a housing; a lever having a latch pin fixedly mounted to the lever, the lever being movably mounted to the housing so that the latch pin moves in an arc; and a latch plate movably mounted to the housing for linear movement with respect to the housing, the latch plate comprising a labyrinth for receiving the latch pin.

A remotely actuated vehicle pedal depression apparatus includes a handheld unit operatively coupled to a distal unit. Manual compression of an actuator disposed on the handheld unit effectuates extension of an extendable member forwardly from an anterior member disposed on the distal unit. Distal unit may be positioned in a footwell of an automobile to effectuate depression of a targeted pedal while a user performs observational diagnostics on the automobile without the assistance of another person.

A lever latching system comprising: a housing; a lever having a latch pin fixedly mounted to the lever, the lever being movably mounted to the housing so that the latch pin moves in an arc; and a latch plate movably mounted to the housing for linear movement with respect to the housing, the latch plate comprising a labyrinth for receiving the latch pin.

A medical instrument is disclosed. The medical instrument includes at least one electrical contact element, a battery, a radio frequency (RF) generation circuit coupled to and operated by the battery and operable to generate an RF drive signal and to provide the RF drive signal to the at least one electrical contact, and a battery discharge circuit coupled to the battery. A processor is coupled to the battery discharge circuit and a memory is coupled to the processor. The memory stores machine executable instructions that when executed cause the processor to monitor activation of the RF generation circuit and disable the RF generation circuit when the RF drive signal is fired a predetermined number of times. The medical instrument may include an activation switch and/or a disposal switch supported by the housing.

A remotely extendable motivator apparatus includes a handheld unit operatively coupled to a distal unit. Manual compression of an actuator disposed on the handheld unit effectuates extension of an extendable member forwardly from an anterior member disposed on the distal unit. Distal unit may be positioned in a footwell of an automobile to effectuate depression of a targeted pedal while a user performs observational diagnostics on the automobile without the assistance of another person.

A brake bleeder apparatus 10 is provided which allows the brakes of an automobile 12 to be bleed by only one person. The apparatus 10 includes an elongated housing 24, having an elongated aperture 26 formed therein. A spring 28 is supported in the aperture 26 in the housing 24. A plunger 44 is aligned in the aperture 26 to engage the spring 28 so that the spring can be compressed and released to expand therein. The apparatus 10 is put in place between a steering wheel 18 and brake pedal 20 of the automobile 12 so the brake pedal is held in place by compression of the spring 28. Once the brake bleeder valve 54 is opened the brake pedal 20 is depressed thereby pushing air out of the brakes of the automobile 12. This process is repeated on each wheel until all the air is removed from the brakes.
