Method for trimming rectangular container
A method for trimming a rectangular container and an apparatus trimming a rectangular container are provided, by which an appropriate cut surface with a possible crack or burr suppressed can be obtained when a rectangular container is trimmed. When a punch cutter is initially allowed to cut into a rectangular tubular portion of an untrimmed rectangular container, the punch cutter is inclined relative to a thickness direction of a cut area of the rectangular tubular portion, and then, the punch cutter is circumferentially moved along a trim line on the rectangular tubular portion to cut the rectangular tubular portion.
Sealing appliance
An appliance for sealing elastic hoses with a sleeve, which is plastically deformable and slipped onto the hose, has two jaws which are movable towards and away from each other. One jaw has two straight bars which project towards the other jaw and extend transversely of the sleeve to make two transverse indentations in the sleeve and the hose when the jaws are moving towards each other. The same jaw has a cutting edge which projects towards the other jaw and is directed transversely of the sleeve, the cutting edge making a substantially transverse cutting indication in the sleeve and the hose when the jaws are moving towards each other.
System and method of post-cure processing of composite core
A method of cutting a wafer of composite core from a bulk composite core including the steps of placing the bulk composite core in a container, the bulk composite core having a plurality of tube members; depositing a potting compound in contact with an outer surface of the bulk composite core; curing the potting compound; and after curing of the potting compound, cutting through each of the tube members. A method of cutting a wafer of composite core from a bulk composite core, the method comprising the steps of stabilizing the bulk composite core by wrapping an exterior of the bulk composite core with a composite wrap, the bulk composite core having a plurality of tube members; curing the composite wrap; and cutting through each of the tube members.
TOOL FOR MANUFACTURING A CAP FOR A CONTAINER
A tool for manufacturing a cap for a container comprises a blade set that includes a plurality of knives. The knives are configured to make incisions in a cap having a main body having a top plate and a circular sidewall. The top plate has a top surface, wherein two opposite sides of the circular sidewall circularly connect to each other, one periphery of the circular sidewall connects to one surface of the top plate forming a closed end, and the other periphery of the circular sidewall at the opposite side of the closed end forms an opened end and a ring member, which is located at the opened end of the main body. There is a first tab on the ring member and a second tab on the sidewall.
Malleable tip for applying an agent to a target site
An applicator device for applying an agent to a target site with a malleable tip that can be cut to length with a pair of nursing dressing scissors or similar type of scissors and a malleable tip with a formable tube that that can be cut to length with a pair of nursing dressing scissors or similar type of scissors. The malleable tip is configured for passage of fluid therethrough and includes a malleable member. The malleable member is made of a soft metal that is strong enough to retain the shape of the tip after is has been bend into configuration, but soft and weak enough to be easily cut with a pair of nursing dressing scissors or the like.
VASCULAR FILTER DEVICE
A vascular filter device (1) has a support frame (2) and filter elements (4). The filter elements (4) extend from the support frame towards filter element ends forming an on-axis apex (5) at which they are interconnected by a holder (6). The filter elements (4) are biased such that if unconnected the filter element ends are located between the support frame and said central axis when the vascular filter device is unconstrained. The filter element unconnected positions are provided by the filter element shapes and the angles at which they extend from the support frame, and in one example this is achieved by laser cutting tubing and heat setting the material.
Machine for cutting tubes
A machine for cutting tubes is provided including a support table, at least two tube rests protruding from the table and arranged at a distance from one another, and a separating device arranged therebetween. The support table has a substantially flat tube-supporting surface, and the separating device has a cutting knife and a tube feed which can move parallel to the separating plane and has two thrust pieces arranged on both sides of the separating plane, each having a tube contact surface. At least one of the thrust pieces has a thrust piece attachment adjustably attached to a carrier and having tube contact surfaces.

Notcher
Present invention teaches a notcher having primary structures of a base plate with a mounting plate set in a vertical orientation. A square plate carries a pivotable trapezoidal plate that carries the notcher assembly. The square plate is slidably connected to said mounting plate wedges on the square plate where those wedges match to v-grooves on the side of the mounting plate. A T-post clamp serves to provide the holding structure to hold work pieces in place for the notcher assembly to do the needed work of cutting/notching out a hole.
Electrician's ladder and method
A stepladder having a front side, a rear side and a top. The stepladder can include a conduit holder attached to the front side for holding conduit. The stepladder can include a first wire spool holder attached to the front side and a second wire spool holder attached to the rear side though which a conduit having a wire spool extends. The stepladder can include a hacksaw hook attached to the front side. A method for cutting a conduit. A method for using a hacksaw. A method for obtaining wire.
