HIGH SPEED SLICING MACHINE
A food article slicing machine includes a food article loading apparatus with a lift tray assembly for moving food articles from a staging position to an elevated position at a beginning of a food article feed path, a food article feed apparatus disposed over the food article loading apparatus having an upper conveyor assembly with an independently driven endless conveyor belt used in cooperation with a food article gripper for moving the food articles along the food article feed path, a food article stop gate that forms part of the food article feed path and opens to drop food article end portions, and a slicing station at an end of the food article feed path with a knife for slicing the food articles.
HIGH SPEED SLICING MACHINE
A high-speed food article slicing machine with a slicing station, a moveable frame supporting a food article feed mechanism frame, a food article gate, and a safety guard system for detecting an intrusion into the machine. Food articles are loaded onto a lift tray and raised to a staging position where food articles are in contact with a food article gate. The lift tray is located in line with the food article feed paths such that lateral shifting of food articles into the feed paths is not needed. Food article grippers, individually driven along feed paths by an overhead conveyor, move food articles over the food article gate towards the slicing station. The food article gate functions to assist in removal of food article end portions. The slicing machines utilizes a horizontally radiating laser intrusion detector to shut down systems when an unwanted intrusion is sensed.
Apparatus, method and system for buffering and processing multi-segment rod-like articles
An apparatus and method for buffering and processing loose rod-like articles including a feeder belt in communication with an inlet rotary portion, an intermediate rotary portion in communication with the inlet rotary portion and a discharge rotary portion, and a discharge belt in communication with the discharge rotary portion. The inlet rotary portion, intermediate rotary portion, discharge rotary portion define a transit path that serves buffering and/or processing purposes for a rod segment or rod segment group. Mechanical separators are distributed circumferentially about a periphery of each of the rotary portions, with processing compartments formed between respective mechanical separators to receive the rod segment or rod segment group. One or more supplementary processing zones are distributed adjacent a circumference of one or more rotary portions with an assembly proximate the supplementary processing zones. The assembly exerts a controlled process transversely through the transit path.
Method and arrangement for portion cutting of food items, and use of a cutting device in the arrangement
An apparatus for portion cutting food items includes a first cutting device which comprises a cutting unit for the cutting of food items into strips. The apparatus includes one or more additional cutting devices, each comprising a cutting unit for cutting the strips into pieces of predetermined weight and dimensions. Measuring means are arranged in the first cutting device for scanning at least one of a shape, a structure and a dimension of the food item. The apparatus further comprises processor means with a control program for the planning of a portion-cutting profile on the basis of the scanning.
METHOD AND APPARATUS FOR CONTINUOUSLY PROCESSING CONDUCTOR CABLE FOR DISPOSAL OR RECYCLING
A continuous processing system and method for the continuous processing of an electrical conductor cable having aluminum strands encasing a steel core directly from a puller or from a puller and reel, simultaneously or on-the-fly during substantially the entirety of a reconductoring or re-stringing of the cable, wherein such cables are used for power lines or for static wires. The system is adapted to cooperate with a pulling machine. The pulling machine may be formed integrally within the system or may be a conventional pulling machine which cooperates with the system. The processing system runs continuously, substantially without interruption, during the pull of all of the cable from the pull zone of the reconductoring or restringing.
Absorbent article substrate trim material removal process and apparatus
Aspects of the present disclosure involve methods and apparatuses for cutting and removing trim from an advancing substrate. Particular embodiments of the apparatuses and methods disclosed herein provide for removal of continuous lengths of trim, and in some embodiments, discrete pieces of trim from an advancing substrate.
Waste recycling mechanism and film cutting module thereof
A waste recycling mechanism is disposed on a film cutting machine and includes a fixing plate fixed to a cutting template of the film cutting machine, a pressing-head device disposed on the fixing plate, a tape, a tape reel and a collection device disposed on a platform of the film cutting machine. The tape is wound on the tape reel and is connected to the collection device after being wound on the pressing-head device. When the fixing plate moves downward with a cutting motion of the cutting template, the pressing-head device presses a film waste to make the tape attached to the film waste. When the fixing plate moves upward, the collection device reels in the tape to make a portion of the tape having the film waste separate from the pressing-head device and make a portion of the tape without any film waste wound on the pressing-head device.
METHOD AND ARRANGEMENT FOR HANDLING NARROW ROLLS
An arrangement for handling narrow rolls comprises a flow-through warehouse, which comprises an inlet end and an outlet end. The narrow rolls are handled such that the narrow rolls are fed into the inlet end in a first direction. The flow-through warehouse further comprises at least two rack rows having a second direction transverse to said first direction, at least two isles having the second direction and carriages that move the narrow rolls into a rack and from a rack and also carry them in the second direction. At least one carriage moves along each isle, at least two isles comprise carriages that are capable of sorting the narrow rolls, and at least one carriage is sorting the narrow rolls for forming a customer stack. The customer stack is formed of several narrow rolls and delivered from the outlet end to be transported to a customer.
