A machine for forming insulating panels from pieces includes a moving device with pieces thereon, where every other piece is upside down from a position that is desired and a flipping zone comprising a flipping machine. The flipping machine rotates the upside down pieces 180 degrees and releases the now right side up pieces for further processing.

The invention relates to a method for the simultaneous multiple track cutting of several food products, in which the products are cut by means of a common cutting apparatus, in particular a high performance slicer, which has at least one cutting blade which rotates about a blade axis in a cutting plane and/or revolves about a central axis in a planetary motion manner and to which the products are supplied in multiple tracks, and in which blank cuts are carried out in at least a passive track and/or in which the supply of the respective product is suspended at least at times, while the respective product is sliced in at least one other active track.

Some food pathogens are not well controlled by lethality treatments followed by refrigeration. A food processing facility according to this invention reduces the likelihood that food pathogens will be able to enter the food processing facility, or spread should they be able to enter. The food processing facility is divided into a plurality of area, with different areas having different allowed actions that can be taken on the food product, different rules and/or procedures for persons who are allowed entry, and/or different levels of cleanliness. The food processing facility includes a plurality of separate rooms for processing the food product, each including separate food processing machines, air handling systems, drain systems and/or often-used supplies and tools. Different air pressures within different areas limit the possible movement of airborne food pathogens. Sanitizing stations are placed between various ones of the different areas.

A paper processing apparatus includes a pressing member which approaches and presses a paper bundle inserted into a space formed between the pressing member and a supporting member for supporting a paper, a cutting blade which cuts an end portion of the paper bundle pressed by the pressing member, a removal member having a front end portion which removes cutting waste of the paper bundle, a removal member which has a front end portion which reaches a position at which the paper bundle is pressed by the pressing member, and removes cutting waste of the paper bundle by the front end portion, and a control unit. An external weld bead removal system for removing and chopping an external weld bead from a tube includes a weld bead cutting apparatus and a weld bead chopper apparatus for chopping the removed external weld bead. The weld bead cutting apparatus includes a cutting tool operative to cut and remove an external weld bead from a tube. The weld bead chopper apparatus, the weld bead chopper apparatus includes a first blade member, a second blade member mounted adjacent the first blade member, and a chopper actuator operable to forcibly rotate the first blade member about a rotation axis relative to the second blade member such that the first and second blade members cooperatively cut the removed external weld bead into smaller weld bead segments as the removed external weld bead is advanced through the chopper apparatus.
