RE046627 · 2017-12-12 ·

Personal cutting devices in the form of hand held punches for producing jewelry display cards include two aligned templates having identical patterns of apertures and being securely mounted in a frame such that a space between the templates accommodates a piece of cardstock. There is a spring biased movable member having elongate cutting elements designed to pass through the apertures in both templates, and an activation lever on which indicia is printed to show the aperture patterns produced by the punches. A housing protects the mechanism. Each punch is specifically designed to produce a display card that can hold and display a single article of jewelry such as a pair of earrings, a necklace or a brooch. The punches vary in size according to the template patterns. The punches enable the jewelry designer to use any card stock, including a business card, to display an article of jewelry.

TUBULAR CUTTING APPARATUS

An apparatus for cutting off concrete, wooden, and/or metal piles, casing, conductor pipe and other metal tubulars, uses a metal frame and a metal blade linearly moveable within the frame, the blade being hydraulically and/or pneumatically driven to puncture and then slice and split through the metal being cut off, the cutting surface of the blade having a removable, centralized puncture point located essentially at the projected intersection between two concave cutting surfaces.

Tool for Controlled Cutting
20170225346 · 2017-08-10 ·

A Tool for making controlled cuts using a template cutting guide to facilitate the registration and cutting of a workpiece including, an elongated body portion having a top face and a bottom face separated by a thickness, a cutting guide slot sized to receive and control a cutting blade and extending through the thickness of the elongated body which may include guide lines with equidistant spacing. Additionally, the cutting guide may utilize push pins or fasteners to secure the cutting guide to the workpiece. The cutting guide allows the user to execute precise cuts in material such as mat board using a standard utility knife.

Sealing appliance
RE046544 · 2017-09-12 · ·

An appliance for sealing elastic hoses with a sleeve, which is plastically deformable and slipped onto the hose, has two jaws which are movable towards and away from each other. One jaw has two straight bars which project towards the other jaw and extend transversely of the sleeve to make two transverse indentations in the sleeve and the hose when the jaws are moving towards each other. The same jaw has a cutting edge which projects towards the other jaw and is directed transversely of the sleeve, the cutting edge making a substantially transverse cutting indication in the sleeve and the hose when the jaws are moving towards each other.

Trimming-deburring assembly

A trimming-deburring assembly includes an upper fixed plate, a lower fixed plate, an intermediate mobile plate, movable between the upper and lower fixed plates, in a vertical direction, and command and movement means for moving the intermediate mobile plate, having an electric motor and a movement group operatively connected on a top to the electric motor and on the bottom to the intermediate mobile plate. The movement group has a spindle member drivable in rotation by the electric motor, having a spindle cavity and a worm gear element provided with a worm gear cavity defined by a threaded worm gear wall, and a worm screw element at least partially housed in the spindle cavity and in the worm gear cavity, having a threaded screw wall engaged with the threaded worm gear wall to receive rotary action of the worm gear element, and a lower end operatively connected to the lower fixed plate.

Referring to FIG. 1), a sawmill has a pair of spaced end frames (1), (2), (4), a support beam (17) spanning the end frames and a saw carriage (56) moveable along the beam to carry a saw towards one end frame and then towards the other end frame. Each end frame has a ground engaging cross bar (1), a movable horizontal member (2) mounted on the cross bar (1) and an upright post (4). For each end frame the horizontal member (2) can run along the cross bar (1) to move the post (4) and consequently the beam (17) in adjustable increments towards one side of the sawmill and then towards the other side of the sawmill. The posts (4) support the beam (17) in a vertically adjustable elevated disposition.

RIBBON CUTTING AND SEALING APPARATUS
20190270217 · 2019-09-05 ·

A cutting apparatus configured to hold an elongate element, such as a ribbon, in a desired orientation as the elongate element is cut into two sections. A cutting element of such a cutting apparatus may be confined to a single orientation relative to that of the elongate element, reducing or eliminating the likelihood of misalignment between the cutting element and the elongate element immediately before the elongate element is cut. In some embodiments, the cutting apparatus, or even its cutting element, may be configured to seal the newly cut ends of the elongate element. Methods for cutting and or sealing elongate elements, such as ribbons, are also disclosed.
