    Abstract

The present invention relates to a method and procedure for reducing immediate serum glucose levels without resort to drugs. Specifically, the invention discloses a regular regimen comprising modest exercise, daily nutritional supplements and a series of specific, time sensitive steps, which, when followed will optimize the effects of the invention.

    Claims

    1. A composition for supplementing daily nutritional chromium, said composition comprising a chromium complex in combination with niacin, L-Arginine, or both niacin and L-Arginine.

    2. The composition of claim 1, further comprising at least one vasodilator wherein said vasodilator is aspirin.

    3. The composition if claim 1, wherein said chromium complex is selected from the group consisting of chromium picolinate, chromium nicotinate, chromium glycinate, or other chromium comprising chromium content of between about 100 to 500 micrograms.

    4. A method for supplementing daily nutritional chromium in a person, said method comprising administering to said person a composition in an effective amount of chromium complex in combination with niacin, L-Arginine, or both niacin and L-Arginine.

    5. The method of claim 4, wherein said effective amount of chromium complex is between about 100 to 1,500 micrograms.

    6. The composition of claim 4, wherein said chromium complex is selected from the group consisting of chromium picolinate, chromium nicotinate, chromium glycinate, or other chromium comprising chromium content of between about 100 to 500 micrograms.

    7. The method of claim 4, wherein said composition is administered orally, nasally, sublingually, intramuscularly, subcultaneously, and transdermally.

    8. A method for reducing blood serum glucose in a person in need thereof, comprising administering to said person a composition in an effective amount of chromium complex in combination with niacin, L-Arginine, or both niacin and L-Arginine.

    9. The method of claim 8, wherein the effective amount of chromium complex is between about 100 to 1,500 micrograms.

    10. The composition if claim 8, wherein said chromium complex is selected from the group consisting of chromium picolinate, chromium nicotinate, chromium glycinate, or other chromium comprising chromium content of between about 100 to 500 micrograms.

    11. The method of claim 8, wherein said composition is administered orally, nasally, sublingually, intramuscularly, subcultaneously, and transdermally.

    Description

[0029] Preferred Embodiment. The invention consists of components which give Type II Diabetics the ability to effect dramatic, short-term reduction of blood sugar levels and to eventually replenish the body's stores of Chromium (III) The components are as follows [0030] a. A daily regimen of vitamins and tablets comprising [0031] i Twice daily doses of a compound comprising the Chromium complex of an Organic Acid such as Picolinate, Nicotinate, Glycinate or other having a chromium content of between 100 and 500 micrograms of Chromium. [0032] ii. 200-1,000 milligram daily dose of a vasa-dilator/blood thinner comprising aspirin, niacin and L-Arginine [0033] iii. doses of liquid Ionic chromium in the concentration of between 100500 parts per million, such that each dose contains between 100 and 1,500 micrograms of chromium. Such compound is administered in a fashion which will introduce massive amounts of Cr(III) into the blood stream in a rapid manner, such as sublingually. [0034] b. A complimentary exercise regimen comprising at least one daily aerobic exercise session of at least one-half hour each. The exercise should elevate and hold the heart rate at or above 60% of the maximum as established by the American Medical Association for the duration of the workout. [0035] c. A method of administering the daily regimen: [0036] i. The Chromium Organic acid compound is ingested at least twice per day usually in the morning and in the evening. [0037] ii. Approximately 10 minutes prior to each work out, the person ingests the vasodilator/blood thinner. [0038] iii. Immediately prior to workout, the person places the Ionic Chromium complex under the tongue (sublingual) and holds it there during the exercise for as long as possible before swallowing. [0039] iv. Approximately mid-way through the work out, the person repeats the sublingual administration of the Ionic Chromium complex.
