Abstract
A guard locking element (4) actuatable by means of an electric drive (6). By means of the electric drive (6), the guard locking element (4) can be brought into a blocking position such that an actuator (2) of a safety switch is locked by said guard locking element. The guard locking element (4) is connected to the electric drive (6) by means of a coupling (11) such that a rotary motion of the electric drive (6) is converted into a purely translatory motion of the guard locking element (4).
Claims
1. Guard locking device (1) having a guard locking element (4) operable by means of an electric drive (6), wherein the guard locking element (4) can be brought into a blocking position by means of the electric drive (6) such that an actuator (2) of a safety switch is locked by said guard locking element, characterized in that the guard locking element (4) is connected to the electric drive (6) via a coupling (11) such that a rotary motion of the electric drive (6) is converted into a purely translatory motion of the guard locking element (4).

Guard locking device (1) pursuant to claim 1, characterized in that by means of said device bistable guard locking can be established according to which the guard locking element (4) can be moved into the blocking position by means of the electric drive (6), whereby in this blocked position, the guard locking element (4) engages with a recess of the actuator (2) thereby effecting the locking of the latter, and whereby the guard locking element (4) can be moved out of the blocking position by means of the electric drive (6).
3. Guard locking device (1) pursuant to claim 1, characterized in that said guard locking device has means of decoupling by means of which the guard locking element (4), while decoupled from the electric drive (6), can be moved out of the blocking position against a spring force.
4. Guard locking device (1) pursuant to claim 3, characterized in that a capture function is realizable for the actuator (2) by means of the decoupling means.

Guard locking device (1) pursuant to claim 4, characterized in that the capture function is realized by the fact that by means of an engagement element of the actuator (2), the guard locking element (4) is mechanically decoupled from the electric drive (6) and moved out of a blocking position, and that then, when the recess of the actuator (2) lies in the range of the guard locking element (4), the latter is moved back into the blocking position by the spring force and engages in the recess of the actuator (2).
6. Guard locking device (1) pursuant to claim 3, characterized in that it is operable optionally with a bistable guard locking or a capture function.
7. Guard locking device (1) pursuant to claim 6, characterized in that the functionality of the bistable guard locking or of the capture function is defined by a software version of the guard locking device (1) or can be specified by a programming command.

Guard locking device (1) pursuant to claim 1, characterized in that the coupling (11) has a cross pin (12) and a cylindrical pin (13) running perpendicular to the cross pin, with the cross pin (12) being guided in a longitudinal guide (14) and with the cylindrical pin (13) securing the cross pin (12).

Guard locking device (1) pursuant to claim 1, characterized in that with the coupling (11) between the guard locking element (4) and the electric drive (6) a torsionally rigid and play-free coupling is effected in the axial direction, and a tolerance compensation of these units is effected in the lateral direction.

Guard locking device (1) pursuant to claim 9, characterized in that the longitudinal axes of the cross pin (12) and the cylindrical pin (13) run perpendicular to the longitudinal axis of the guard locking element (4), with the cross pin (12) being positioned with play in a recess of the guard locking element (4), and with the cylindrical pin (13) being positioned with play in a recess of the cross pin (12).

Guard locking device (1) pursuant to claim 1, characterized in that the electric drive (6) has an electric motor having a planetary gear train and on the output side of the electric drive (6) a spindle (8) is provided whose rotary motion is converted as forward motion to a driver (9) coupled to the spindle (8) by means of a spindle nut (10), which driver is connected to the guard locking element (4) via coupling (11).
12. Guard locking device (1) pursuant to claim 11, characterized in that the driver (9) is connected to the coupling (11) by means of the cylindrical pin (13) and is thus positioned in a torsionally rigid manner.

Guard locking device (1) pursuant to claim 11, characterized in that the driver (9) is embodied as a hollow cylinder, with the interior space of the driver (9) embodying a decoupling path as an integral part of the means of decoupling, with the spindle (8) being guidable along the decoupling path.
14. Guard locking device (1) pursuant to claim 11, characterized in that a spring (18) generating the spring force is positioned between the driver (9) and the electric drive (6).
15. Guard locking device (1) pursuant to claim 1, characterized in that a cable (21) is guided within the guard locking element (4), with a cable deflection device (22) being arranged on the guard locking element (4) by means of which cable deflection device the cable (21) is positively guided along a trajectory.
16. Guard locking device (1) pursuant to claim 15, characterized in that the cable (21) emerging at the cable deflection device (22) is guided laterally next to the components of the guard locking device (1).
17. Guard locking device (1) pursuant to claim 1, characterized in that the guard locking element (4) can be brought into a lower end position, which corresponds to a release position, which end position can be controlled by sensors, thereby defining the lower position of the spindle nut (10), and that based on this the additional positions of the spindle nut (10) are determined by means of a rotational position transducer (7) of the electric drive.
