Abstract

A laundry liquid composition in a container, the composition comprising a surfactant, said surfactant comprising C18 alkyl-containing anionic or non-ionic surfactant, a free fragrance and wherein the container comprises at least 50% wt. post-consumer recycled resin (PCR) comprising polyolefin or polyester.

Claims

1. A laundry liquid composition in a container, the composition comprising a surfactant, said surfactant comprising C18 alkyl-containing anionic or non-ionic surfactant, a free fragrance and wherein the container comprises at least 50% wt. post-consumer recycled resin (PCR) comprising polyolefin or polyester.

2. A composition according to claim 1 wherein the surfactant comprises at least 5% wt. of the total surfactant, C18 alkyl surfactant.

3. A composition according to claim 1 wherein the surfactant comprises at least 10% wt. of the total surfactant, C18 alkyl surfactant.

4. A composition according to claim 1 wherein the surfactant comprises at least 30% wt. of the total surfactant, C18 alkyl surfactant.

5. A composition according to claim 1 wherein the C18 alkyl-containing surfactant is selected from methyl ester ethoxylate, alkyl ether sulphate, alcohol ethoxylate, methyl ester sulfonate and mixtures thereof.

6. A composition according to claim 1 wherein the C18 alkyl-containing surfactant comprises methyl ester ethoxylate.

7. A composition according to claim 1 comprising from 1 to 70% wt. of the composition C18 alkyl-containing surfactant.

8. A composition according to claim 1 comprising at least 50% wt. water.

9. A composition according to claim 1 wherein at least 30% wt of the total C18 surfactant is a mono-unsaturated C18 containing surfactant.

10. A composition according to claim 1 having a pH of 5 to 10, more preferably 6 to 8, most preferably 6.1 to 7.0.

11. A composition according to claim 1 wherein the fragrance comprises from 0.5 to 3% wt. of the composition.

A composition according to claim 1 wherein the fragrance comprises a component selected from the groups consisting of ethyl-2-methyl valerate (manzanate), limonene, dihyro myrcenol, dimethyl benzyl carbonate acetate, benzyl acetate, geraniol, methyl nonyl acetaldehyde, cyclacet (verdyl acetate), cyclamal, beta ionone, hexyl salicylate, tonalid, phenafleur, octahydrotetramethyl acetophenone (OTNE) and mixtures thereof.
