A portable tool capable of being moved by persons, users and/or operators includes a motor; an actuable tool component at least connectable to the work cylinder; an add-on from a group at least including an extension, a connection and a fork, configured to be placed on the tool; and a controller connected to the motor and configured to determine presence of the add-on on the tool to selectively increase or reduce motor force and/or speed, depending on detected presence or absence of the add-on.
MULTI-USE RESCUE ACCESS BAR
A multi-use rescue access tool for forcible entry into buildings and other functions, including a rescue bar with opposed head and sickle blade ends. The head end includes paired jaws on one side and a blunt hook with a strike contact face and an open space for insertion of the blunt hook also including a periphery configured for wrench to open and close hydrant valves. A chisel end on an upper jaw may extend beyond a lower jaw. Opposed ends of the rescue bar are configured for paired interlocks with a halligan bar having a fork lever end and adze pick end whereby a pair of aligned prongs of the fork lever end are abutted against corresponding opposed side walls stepping up to aligned raised surfaces of the sickle blade end in a clasped interlock, coupling aligned prongs with opposed recessed channels of a head end in an extended interlock or coupling the adze pick end between paired jaws of the head end to provide a step on the top surface of the head end of the rescue bar in a stepped interlock. Opposed channels of the head end are configured for further coupling the fork lever end within opposed aligned channels of head end to couple the rescue and halligan bars in a parallel juxtaposition.
RESCUE ACCESS WEDGE
A rescue access wedge having a base portion, a rear portion and a front portion with a pair of opposed generally triangular sidewalls upwardly extended from the base portion wherein the sidewalls taper from the rear portion to a tip connecting the pair of opposed side surfaces and wherein a pair of aligned slots disposed on opposed sidewalls are adjoined for coupling with paired prongs a fork end of a rescue tool and a concavity or notch disposed in a top and/or bottom surface configured to seat this rescue access wedge upon an abutting surface and a method of use thereof.
MULTI-FUNCTIONAL CLAMP ACCESS TOOL
A multifunctional clamp access tool adaptable for use in diverse rescue scenarios including a spring clamp having a pair of arms, each having jaw members with grip ends extending to handle ends. The pair of arms are pivotally coupled at a spring point such that the grip ends are forcibly separable into an open position when pressure is applied to the handle ends and release of the handle ends releases the spring joint so as to compress the grip ends in abutted alignment and an inner surface between one of the grip ends. An angled offset grip portion between at least one of the grip ends and the spring point form a clearance space are configured to span a side edge of a door such that the grip end and the offset grip portion contact surfaces are offset from a transverse plane between opposing adjacent front and rear door faces. At least one handle end is tapered in a wedge and includes recesses. Opposed handle ends and a proximate aperture provide a peg spanner wrench and a lip protruding at an acute angle from a grip end provide a lug spanner wrench for loosening, tightening or otherwise manipulating a fire hydrant or hose.
MULTI-FUNCTIONAL CLAMP ACCESS TOOL
A multifunctional clamp access tool adaptable for use in diverse rescue scenarios including a spring clamp having a pair of arms, each having jaw members with grip ends extending to handle ends. The pair of arms are pivotally coupled at a spring point such that the grip ends are forcibly separable into an open position when pressure is applied to the handle ends and release of the handle ends releases the spring joint so as to compress the grip ends in abutted alignment and an inner surface between one of the grip ends. An angled offset grip portion between at least one of the grip ends and the spring point form a clearance space are configured to span a side edge of a door such that the grip end and the offset grip portion contact surfaces are offset from a transverse plane between opposing adjacent front and rear door faces. At least one handle end is tapered in a wedge and includes recesses. Opposed handle ends and a proximate aperture provide a peg spanner wrench and a lip protruding at an acute angle from a grip end provide a lug spanner wrench for loosening, tightening or otherwise manipulating a fire hydrant or hose.
Rescue tool
A rescue tool (10) comprises a drive system which is provided inside a housing and which is configured and suitable for actuating a linear displacement of an implement drive member. The drive system is connected for axial rotation to a rotation shaft of an energizable drive source (22), wherein the rotation shaft of the energizable drive source (22) is coupled for force transmission to an axially rotatable spindle (30). The spindle (30) is coupled rotatably to the housing (15) by means of an axial bearing assembly (25, 26) and the drive body (40) is coupled for force transmission to the spindle (30) and to the implement drive member. The drive body is configured and suitable for converting an axial rotation of the spindle (30) to a linear translation of its own.
Detachable thrust device for opening a door
A thrust device for opening a door which can be assembled from a ready-to-assemble assembly of at least three parts by reversible attachment devices, which can be manually activated and deactivated, and able to maintain a rectilinear alignment of the lower and upper parts of the lower and upper support bars.
Impact tools
An impact tool includes a core and a plurality of projections. The core is formed of a first material that has a first specific gravity and each projection is formed of a second material that has a second specific gravity. The plurality of projections is configured on the core such that at least two projections intersect a first hypothetical plane disposed on the first side of the core and at least two projections intersect a second hypothetical plane disposed on the second side of the core and that is opposably facing the first side. Each of the first and second hypothetical planes is disposed a distance from the central lengthwise axis of the core that is greater than the radius of the core and less than the sum of the radius of the core and the length of a projection.
Impact tools
An impact tool includes a core and a plurality of projections. The core is formed of a first material that has a first specific gravity and each projection is formed of a second material that has a second specific gravity. The plurality of projections is configured on the core such that at least two projections intersect a first hypothetical plane disposed on the first side of the core and at least two projections intersect a second hypothetical plane disposed on the second side of the core and that is opposably facing the first side. Each of the first and second hypothetical planes is disposed a distance from the central lengthwise axis of the core that is greater than the radius of the core and less than the sum of the radius of the core and the length of a projection.
Method for operating a working device or rescue device, and working device or rescue device
A method for operating an electromechanical or electrohydraulic working device or rescue device is performed by an operator person and can be used autonomously. The working/rescue device includes a cutting tool having two cutting tool halves movable toward and away from one another and define a virtual cutting plane by their movement. The working/rescues device includes a housing, an electric motor; a pump or mechanical transmission, each driven by the electric motor for actuating the tool insert. An exchangeable rechargeable electrical energy source is in/on a device side of the working/rescue device and includes a housing. During operation of the working/rescue device, orientation of the working/rescue device is sensed and the relationship between the angular position of the working/rescue device cutting plane and the force applied by the cutting tool to the object to be cut is established and the working/rescue device is controlled in dependence on the relationship.
