SYSTEMS AND METHODS FOR GENERATING STEREOSCOPIC, AUGMENTED, AND VIRTUAL REALITY IMAGES
A ride system includes eyewear configured to be worn by a user. The eyewear includes a display having a stereoscopic feature configured to permit viewing of externally projected stereoscopically displayed images. The ride system includes a computer graphics generation system communicatively coupled to the eyewear, and configured to generate streaming media of a real world environment based on image data captured via the camera of the eyewear, generate one or more virtual augmentations superimposed on the streaming media of the real world environment, and to transmit the streaming media of the real world environment along with the one or more superimposed virtual augmentations to be displayed on the display of the eyewear, and project stereoscopic images into the real world environment.

ROLLERCOASTER TRIGGER SYSTEM
In a rollercoaster trigger system to output a data signal to a control unit for triggering and controlling an event at a predetermined track position, a beacon plate with a certain aperture pattern and a sensor set is provided to send a trigger signal and a data signal to the control unit. The sensor set includes a first and a second trigger sensor which provide together the trigger signal to readout the data of the beacon plate when together simultaneously detecting a first and second trigger aperture of the aperture pattern. A read sensor is provided for reading data from the aperture pattern by detecting a presence or absence of a read aperture. The data signal is obtained by the control unit when the trigger signal is generated.

Fairground ride
Provided herein is a fairground ride, such as a ghost train or dark ride attraction, having a vehicle including a chassis and a passenger seat for passengers. The vehicle further includes a hexapod drive set on the chassis and a rotary table connected to the hexapod drive, whereby the passenger seat is swivel-mounted on the rotary table.
SEAT APPARATUS
Provided is a seat having a headset, wherein the headset may include a headband. The headset includes a tether cable to secure the headset directly or indirectly to the seat. The seat may form part of a vehicle such as, e.g., a roller coaster vehicle.
METHOD OF OPERATING A RIDE AND A RIDE
The present invention relates to a method for operating a ride (1) on a terrain (10) having at least one vehicle (20), the at least one vehicle (20) having a drive device (22), at least one passenger receptacle (21) for at least one passenger (5), and a store (24) that can be filled with projectiles (15), the method being characterized in that the at least one vehicle (20) is moved on the terrain by means of the relevant drive device (22) and in that at least one projectile (15) can be removed from the store (24) can be fired at the instigation of the at least one passenger (5). In addition, the present invention relates to a ride (1).
LOCKING DEVICE FOR A SAFETY BAR, PASSENGER ACCOMMODATION AND AMUSEMENT RIDE HAVING A LOCKING DEVICE OF THIS KIND
The present invention relates to a locking device (1) for a safety bar (8), comprising a fluid channel (10) having a magneto-rheological fluid (11), a movable locking element (40) and a magnet device (30), wherein the locking element (40) is coupled to the safety bar (8) and forces the fluid (11) through the fluid channel (10) when the safety bar (8) moves, wherein the fluid channel (10) has at least one channel portion (20), and wherein the magnet device (30) is arranged at least on opposing side walls (21) of the channel portion (20) in such a manner that the field lines (31) of the magnetic field of the magnet device (30) can pass through the channel portion (20). The present invention further relates to a passenger accommodation having a safety bar (8) and a locking device (1) and an amusement ride having a locking device (1) according to the invention.
ROLLER COASTER VEHICLE
A roller coaster vehicle is disclosed with seats that are mounted to a circular frame, and where the seats and the frame swing about a central horizontal axis passing between the seats, while the vehicle moves along a standard roller coaster track. The swinging or rotating of the seats with respect to the reference frame of the vehicle leads to a more intense riding experience. In a first preferred embodiment, the seats rotate passively in response to various gravitational and centripetal forces caused by the movement of the car along the track, but the seats could also be actively rotated by motors or other mechanical elements.
