Climate control system for insect farming
The invention relates to a climate control device for controlling the temperature and humidity of air supplied to colonies of insects cultured in an industrial scale insect farm. In particular, the invention relates to a controllable air conditioning system comprising a network of pipes connecting at least one cluster comprising at least one insect farming cage, such that air is conditionable in the cages at the cluster level. More specifically, the invention relates to a system comprising a central main air conditioning facility providing temperature conditioned air and absolute air humidity conditioned air to each of a number of local air conditioning devices, each separate local air conditioning device providing temperature conditioned air and absolute air humidity conditioned air to each of a plethora of clusters of insect breeding cages separately, said cages housed in an temperature conditioned farming room. This way, insects in cages housed in farming rooms are farmed under improved conditions with regard to minimized cage-to-cage temperature differences and differences in relative air humidity, due to the use of the climate control device of the invention.
A PENNING SYSTEM
A penning system including partitions and barriers movable from a deployed configuration, in which the partitions partition an area over a floor into spaces and in which the barriers enclose the spaces to define pens for penning animals, to a collapsed configuration, wherein the partitions and barriers are collapsed for cleaning the floor.
Method of Making A Barn Curtain With Joined Panels
A joiner for preparing a barn curtain comprising a welding machine. The joiner for preparing the barn curtain further comprising a non-transparent panel feeder feeding non-transparent panel material to the welding machine. The joiner for preparing the barn curtain further comprising a transparent panel feeder feeding transparent panel material to the welding machine. The joiner for preparing the barn curtain further comprising a support roller supporting the feeding of the non-transparent panel feeder and the transparent panel feeder. The joiner for preparing the barn curtain further comprising a barn curtain spooler receiving the barn curtain output from the welding machine.

COLLECTING A GASEOUS POLLUTANT FROM AIR
An apparatus for collecting a gaseous pollutant from air may comprise multiple vertical panel-beds each containing a solid sorbent; a fan to pass the air through the multiple vertical panel-beds and over the solid sorbent; an outlet gate configured to release the solid sorbent from the multiple vertical panel-beds after the fan passes the air over the solid sorbent; a regeneration vessel configured to regenerate the released solid sorbent by recovering the gaseous pollutant from the released solid sorbent; and a conveyor configured to return the regenerated solid sorbent to the multiple vertical panel-beds.
Semirigid poultry and/or swine enclosure
An at least partially floorless semirigid poultry enclosure configured to flex and/or adjust to accommodate undulating terrain during movement across a field. The semirigid poultry enclosure may comprise a semirigid foundation. The semirigid foundation may include one or more flexible portions disposed between two or more rigid structural elements. The semirigid poultry enclosure may include an automated movement system configured to facilitate movement of the semirigid poultry enclosure on a field. The automated movement system may be configured to move a semirigid poultry enclosure that is at least 90 feet in length via multiple drive units coupled to a semirigid foundation.
SIMULATED NATURAL LANDSCAPE IN A CAGE-FREE FACILITY TO IMPROVE ANIMAL WELFARE AND HEALTH
An artificial and/or simulated environment is used to raise a domestic or commercially raised animal to promote a positive health feedback and to minimize stress on the animal. The simulated environment is used to create the façade of a free range or cage free environment, while also minimizing the exposure to inclement weather, potential predators, and other unknown or stress-inducing situations. The results include animals that have higher resistance to diseases and have a lower stress. The artificial environment can be created by projecting or otherwise showing images and/or videos depicting simulation of environments, climate, and/or other unknown situations to normalize the animals to the same.
Environment-Controlled Pet Shelter
An animal shelter for reducing noise experienced by an animal is provided. The animal shelter may include one or more side panels creating a substantially enclosed area, a bottom panel coupled to said one or more side walls, and a grounding mat coupled to the bottom panel of the shelter, and configured to dissipate static charge. At least one of the one or more side panels and bottom panel may include an exterior layer of sound-absorbing foam. A fan may be included to direct cold air into the shelter to elevate the barometric pressure.
ANIMAL CRATE
A door assembly for an animal enclosure includes a door frame and a door each having a plurality of interconnected horizontal and vertical wires. The door frame defines an opening for an animal to pass therethrough, and the door is slidably coupled to the door frame such that it moves between an open position and a closed position relative to the door frame to allow egress and ingress through the opening. A catch member is coupled to the door frame. A latch includes a base member, a bolt, and a lever portion. A first vertical wire and a second vertical wire of the door are spaced from one another such that the first vertical wire is at a first end of the door and the second vertical wire is at a second end of the door. In the closed position, the bolt is coupled to the first vertical wire.
HAMSTER HOUSE
A hamster house, which relates to the technical field of breeding devices, comprises: a box body and a movable door. An active cavity is provided inside the box body, an opening communicating with the active cavity is provided on the box body, and the box body is detachably assembled by several flat plates. The movable door is hinged and used to cover the opening. The box body includes: a bottom plate, side plates, a first panel and a second panel. Two side plates are provided and riveted on two ends of the bottom plate, and the two side plates are oriented to the same direction. The first panel is arranged between the two side plates, and the first panel is oriented to the same direction as the side plates.
