BREATHABLE GEOSYNTHETIC CLAY LINER AND PRODUCTION PROCESS THEREFOR
The present application relates to the technical field of ecological environment remediation, and in particular to a breathable geosynthetic clay liner and a production process therefor. The breathable geosynthetic clay liner of the present application includes an upper breathable layer, a lower breathable layer, and a breathable and impermeable sand layer sandwiched between the upper breathable layer and the lower breathable layer; and the breathable and impermeable sand layer includes breathable and impermeable particles and expansive particles. The breathable geosynthetic clay liner of the present application is convenient to construct, high in production efficiency, and free of dust during a construction process.
Layered product comprising superabsorbent polymer
A layered product including at least one natural fiber layer including a web of natural fibers and at least one SAP layer including a non-woven substrate including a thermoplastic polymer fibers and a superabsorbent polymer adhered to thermoplastic polymer fibers, wherein the non-woven substrate is a high loft fabric, for example an airlaid or spunlaid non-woven, and wherein the natural fiber layer and the SAP layer are connected to each other by needle punching, stitch bonding or using an adhesive. A process to prepare the layered product and the use of the layered product in for example horticulture.
Reprocessing of polymeric compositions
A method may include reprocessing a polymer composition comprising a crosslinked polymeric composition, wherein the crosslinked polymeric composition comprises a matrix polymer having a polar polymer internal phase that is selectively crosslinked with a crosslinking agent, wherein the reprocessed polymer composition retains an environmental stress cracking resistance within 60% of the value for the initial polymer composition when measured according to ASTM D-1693 procedure B and wherein the reprocessed polymer composition presents a Normalized Property Balance Index (N.sub.PBI) greater than about 1.0.
A REGULATING SYSTEM AND METHOD FOR MULTILAYER SHADING FILM OF PLASTIC GREENHOUSE WITH ADJUSTABLE SHADING RATE
The invention discloses a regulating system and method for multilayer shading film of plastic greenhouse with adjustable shading rate. The upper film of the sunshade is a fully transparent film, while the middle film and the lower film are printed with dots, which are interlaced. Through the measurement and comparison of the warm light in the greenhouse, the combined control of the sunshade film is realized. Not only can it adjust its light blocking rate, but it also has a heat insulating effect when there is a certain amount of air in the film.
POLYMERIC FILM
The present disclosure provides a film for enhancing the growth of plants in the Cannabaceae family, the film being capable of blocking solar spectrum in the range 430-550 nm. The present disclosure also provides a single- or multi-layer plastic greenhouse film for enhancing cannabis plant growth, where the single- or multi-layer plastic greenhouse film (a) has at least one blue light blocking layer for blocking solar spectrum in the range of 430-500 nm; (b) has a high transmittance for red light in the solar spectrum in the range of 600-750 nm.
Composite having optically transparent resin layer
According to one embodiment, a composite includes a substrate and an optically transparent resin layer formed on the substrate. The substrate includes a woven fabric and a composition layer formed on the woven fabric and including tetrafluoroethylene resin and silicon dioxide.
Flexible tubular device comprising a tubular wall with an elastomer matrix, rearing enclosure comprising such a device and method for manufacturing the latter
Disclosed is a flexible tubular device including a tubular wall that delimits a sealed chamber intended to be filled with a fluid. The tubular wall includes an elastomer matrix into which at least one reinforcement ply delimited by two longitudinal portions is incorporated. The at least one reinforcement ply has the general shape of a sleeve that extends inside the tubular wall to surround the sealed chamber; and the two longitudinal portions of the at least one reinforcement ply are juxtaposed relative to each other. Also disclosed is a rearing enclosure including such a device, and also a method for manufacturing the latter.
FILMS FOR AGRICULTURAL STRUCTURES
A film for covering agricultural structures, including: a) a polymeric film having one or more layers, wherein at least one of the layers includes one or more UV stabilisers; and b) a coating on at least one outer surface of the polymeric film, the coating including at least one layer containing a polymer, such that the film has an oxygen permeability below 500 ml/m.sup.2/bar/day at 23° C. and 0% relative humidity, as measured according to EN ISO 15105-2.
Bio-based EVA compositions and articles and methods thereof
A polymer may include a copolymer of ethylene and vinyl acetate, in which the ethylene is at least partially obtained from a renewable source of carbon, and wherein the copolymer has a melt index (190° C./2.16 kg) ranging from 0.12 to 8.0 g/10 min according to ASTM D1238.
Woven irrigation tubing
Woven irrigation tubing comprising a woven, extrusion coated & laminated tube formed of a high density polyethylene (HDPE) outer layer, a low density polyethylene (LDPE) middle layer and a linear low density polyethylene (LLDPE) inner layer. The finished tubing is treated for ultraviolet resistance. The tubing is tied off at a distal end with a proximal end connected to a pressurized irrigation source. Watering holes are created in the tubing at spaced intervals and the resulting water streams are directed into parallel plowed furrows. The tubing is completely recyclable. The tubing is formed by manufacturing tape for the woven outer tubing cover, stretching the tape along its length to strengthen it, weaving the outer layer from the tape, flattening the woven outer layer, extrusion coating each surface of the outer layer with LDPE, laminating the LLDPE inner layer to the LDPE, reversing and winding the tubing for storage and distribution.
