Paint puck
A circular paint puck is molded silicone or rubber with a diameter matching the bottom of a standard coffee cup or else a standard disposable paint mixing cup of 8 oz, 16 oz, 32 oz or 64 oz. The puck is a disk featuring cleaning surfaces on the top side and, on the bottom, suction cups for securing the puck to the bottom of the cup and preventing its moving during brush cleaning. A painter using the puck attaches it to the bottom of the brush-washing cup, fills the cup with water, and agitates paint brushes against the cleaning surfaces to clean them. The paint puck is made of flexible silicone rubber for economy, molding specialized surfaces, easy cleaning and easy removal from the cup. However, the silicone must have enough rigidity to provide a functional suction cup and for its cleaning surfaces to provide resistance to sticky, wet brush bristles covered in paint.
Paintbrush cleaner
A paintbrush cleaning device is described. The paintbrush cleaning device comprises a concave soap tray having a cleaning brush at one end within the soap tray wherein the soap tray is configured to hold a soap for cleaning a paintbrush and wherein the cleaning brush is configured to scrape paint from bristles of the paintbrush. An optional cleaning comb is also described.
Device for Cleaning a Paint Roller Cover
A device for cleaning a paint roller cover by scraping or immersion, generally comprising an attachment member comprising a distal end and a proximal end and a cylindrical member comprising a cylinder base and a cylinder end. The cylindrical member is insertable into a paint roller cover, the proximal end of the attachment member is rigidly connected to the cylindrical member at the cylinder base, and the attachment member is configured to attach the device to a tool providing rotation about the central longitudinal axis of the device.
DRIVE MECHANISM FOR TRANSPOSITION AND STIRRING BY SINGLE DISC SINGLE MOTOR
A drive mechanism for transposition and stirring by single disc single motor includes a rotating transposition disc, wherein the transposition disc is a single-layer transposition disc, at least one gear set in which a gear ring is engaged with a planetary gear is arranged successively from inside to outside with the rotating shaft of the single-layer transposition disc as the center, the gear ring of each gear set is fixed on a rack, and the planetary gear engaged with the gear ring is rotationally installed on the transposition disc to serve as a driving gear of a stirring shaft of a color matching paint bucket. By adoption of the above technical solution, the present invention has the following beneficial effects: the structure is reasonable, the parts and components of the color mixing machine are reduced without reducing and decreasing the functions of the color mixing machine.
Repeat pattern surface marking system and kit
A surface marking system, kit, and method enables a user to mark a pattern upon a surface. The components may include a rectangular marking material transfer body, a particularly marked alignment tape, and a series of spacer elements. The marking material transfer body includes a fixed dimension and at least one marking material transfer portion. The outer perimeter includes opposed mark-alignment edges. The alignment tape has a fixed width, a select length, and a marked anterior surface. The marked anterior surface includes a series of width-wise marks and a length-wise mark. The length-wise mark is centered relative to the fixed tape width. A select body dimension is firstly and successively positioned at a select number of sequentially spaced width-wise marks and mark-alignment edges are firstly and successively alignable with parallel length-wise marks. The spacer elements ensure parallel arrangement of the length-wise marks and provide overlap sections adjacent the mark-alignment edges.
Paint roller sleeve removal tool
A paint roller sleeve removal tool for overlying an unwanted roller sleeve to allow a user to remove a soiled roller sleeve without spreading mess undesirably. The paint roller sleeve removal tool includes a primary tubular member having a first primary panel hingedly affixed to a second primary panel. The secondary tubular member is affixed to the primary tubular member, the secondary tubular member having a first secondary panel is affixed to a distal end of the first primary panel and a second secondary panel is affixed to a distal end of the second primary panel. The paint roller sleeve removal tool includes a plurality of protrusions that are affixed to an interior surface of each of the first primary panel, the second primary panel, the first secondary panel, and the second secondary panel.
HIGH DEFINITION STENCIL
A stencil for use in stenciling complex symbols incorporates a stencil substrate employing a flexible material, having a plurality of symbols arranged thereon. A plurality of folding stiffeners are incorporated in the substrate, each stiffener being positioned to split symbols having stencil cutouts forming isolated elements within an interior of the symbol. The stiffeners are foldable about a vertex, to collapse into a raised position and bring together the split symbol, with the stiffeners supporting the isolated elements created by the cutouts and portions of the stencil cutouts forming the symbols that extend into coincident channels in the folding stiffeners, to bridge adjoining portions of said split characters.
SHIPPING CONTAINER RECONFIGURABLE AS AN ARTIST'S EASEL
A reconfigurable shipping container that is configurable to a closed state to store and ship artistic supplies and reconfigurable to be an easel includes a lid that is foldable from the closed state used to store and ship artistic supplies to an easel state used to provide a surface against which a canvass may be placed. The lid is supported by support flaps to maintain the lid in the easel state, and the support flaps extend from the lid. An easel support, extends from the lid to provide a surface on which a canvas may be placed when the reconfigurable shipping container is reconfigured to be the easel. An easel retainer coordinates with the support flaps to configure the reconfigurable shipping container into the easel.
Flexible translucent color matching apparatus
An apparatus, system, and method are disclosed for selecting a finish for applying to an item. The apparatus includes a flexible translucent sheet, and at least one semi-translucent color applied to the translucent sheet such that a surface to which the translucent sheet is attached is visible through the translucent sheet and the semi-translucent color. The system includes the apparatus and a protective laminate surface covering the at least one semi-translucent color. The method includes providing a plurality of translucent sheets each having at least one semi-translucent color, examining an item to determine the type of finish of the item, selecting a flexible translucent sheet according to the finish of the item, conforming and affixing the selected translucent sheet to the surface of the item, and viewing the surface of the item through the selected translucent sheet.
Method for Paint Removal from Paint Roller
A paint roller removal tool has two semi-cylindrical portions and a hinge connecting them to form a cylinder in the closed position. By squeezing the cylinder, over top of a paint roller cover, first and second inner rings engage the roller cover to remove paint as the paint roller removal tool is moved from one end to another. One, two, three or more passes can be made to remove paint from the roller cover. Squeezing the cylinder further allows firm gripping of the roller cover to enable it to be removed from the paint roller frame and/or attached to the paint roller frame without a hand ever touching the roller cover.
