Railway car window assemblies and assembly methods
Window assemblies and methods for assembling window assemblies for railway cars are provided. A window assembly includes a first frame portion, which defines a first frame side, a portion of a third frame side, and a portion of a fourth frame side, and which includes a first body which defines a first outer channel. The window assembly further includes a second frame portion which defines a second frame side, a portion of the third frame side, and a portion of the fourth frame side, and which includes a second body which defines a second outer channel. The window assembly further includes a first wear bar at least partially disposed within the first outer channel, and a second wear bar at least partially disposed and resiliently adjustable within the second outer channel. The first frame portion and the second frame portion together define a frame aperture therebetween.
Symmetrical continuous multidirectional ultra-light ultra-strong structure
A multidimensional structures that is formed of thirty six interconnecting members in such a manner as to form eight (8) tetrahedrons and six (6) octahedrons thereby providing a structure that is both light weight and strong, the interconnecting members variously intersecting at a central point that may be formed of a single unified structure having fillets in the middle of the multidimensional structure and at twelve (12) external connecting points.

Overhead light in articulation area of rail vehicles
A bellows assembly for an articulated vehicle connects a first vehicle module and a second vehicle module. The bellows assembly forms a tube between the first vehicle module and the second vehicle module with a top region and a bottom region, the top region corresponding to a roof region of the vehicle above an aisle of the vehicle. The bellows assembly includes a section configured to receive a lighting installation, the section being arranged in the top region of the bellows assembly. Further, an articulated vehicle with such a bellows assembly and a system for installing such a bellows assembly is described.
Foam Reefer Wall Using "Loop" Scrim Fabric Backing
An improved fabric backing for the manufacture of glass-reinforced thermoplastic panels that exhibits significantly greater foam adhesion than its scrim counterpart. That fabric backing includes a plurality of looped section extending upwardly (and inwardly) from its base for enhancing adhesion thereto. The combination is subjected to lamination for making an improved glass-reinforced thermoplastic interior wall panel. That wall panel can be used in a storage unit, such as a refrigerated trailer, railcar, shipping container and/or box truck.
RAIL VEHICLE, PARTICULARLY A TRAM COMPRISING A BUMPER
It is described a rail vehicle, in particular a tram comprising a front portion and a bumper. Preferably, the bumper comprises at least a thermoplastic material comprising PPS, more preferably the bumper comprises more than 50%, even more preferably more than 80% by weight on the total weight of the thermoplastic materials present in the bumper in a thermoplastic PPS-based material. Preferably, the thermoplastic material comprises reinforcement fibres, more preferably glass fibres.
ELASTIC STRUCTURE ANTI-IMPACT FRAME BODY
An elastic structure anti-impact frame body for use in ships, automobiles, aircraft, trains, railcars and other moving vehicles, said frame body being a wholly or partially elastic frame, the bearing components constituting the frame body forming an arc-shape or a wave-shaped curve, and the frame body being made of an elastic material. The whole or part of the structure of the elastic structure anti-impact frame body has an elastic deformation function; on the premise that the elastic structure does not affect normal driving or bearing capacity, under the force of an impact on said frame, the frame body will elastically deform within a corresponding safe range, and can cushion and absorb the energy of the impact; the frame body, when releasing the energy of the impact, returns to the original shape, greatly improving the anti-impact security factor.

Body structure allowing the passage of fluid or gas under pressure and associated body
A bodywork structure for a body for a public transport vehicle, in particular a railway vehicle or a road transport vehicle, for example a guided road transport vehicle, including a wall extending in a longitudinal direction, the wall including at least one cavity extending in the longitudinal direction, wherein the cavity forms a passage for a fluid under pressure, for example a gas under pressure.
