OFFSHORE ASSEMBLY COMPRISING A MOTION COMPENSATION PLATFORM CARRYING AN OBJECT WITH A HEIGHT OF 30-50 METERS OR MORE, MOTION COMPENSATION PLATFORM, AS WELL AS USE OF THE ASSEMBLY
An assembly includes an object with a vertical height of at least 30 metres placed on a bearing frame and a motion compensation platform including a base attached to a vessel. The platform includes an x-y actuator system for rotating the bearing frame with respect to the base about an x-axis and a y-axis, a sensor system configured to detect an x-axis rotating movement, and a y-axis rotating movement, and to generate a corresponding sensor signal, as well as an x-y control system configured to adjust the position of the bearing frame with respect to the base, depending on the sensor signal. The bearing frame is supported at a vertical distance above the base by means of a three-point support having a hinged, fixed first support and hinged second and third supports which are telescopic in the longitudinal direction of the z-axis.
SUPPORT DEVICE CONFIGURED TO BE POSITIONED ON A LIFTING VESSEL IN ORDER TO LIFT A TOPSIDE FROM ITS SUPPORT STRUCTURE
A support device configured to be positioned on a lifting vessel in order to support a topside of an offshore platform, the support device comprising: a main cylindrical casing having an upper opening, the main casing defining a main vertical axis, the main casing further defining an upper support rim, a reservoir located inside the main casing for holding a granular material or a fluid, the reservoir having a discharge opening for emptying the reservoir, a spring support slideably arranged within the main casing, the spring support resting on the granular material or the fluid and being movable from an upper position to a lower position in dependence on a filing degree of the reservoir, a spring device positioned on the spring support, a receptor support positioned on the spring device, the receptor support defining an upper surface, and a receptor device.
FLOAT DEVICE AND SOLAR CELL APPARATUS FOR USE ON WATER
A floating body includes a main body having first and second surfaces opposite to each other and a first side surface connecting the first and second surfaces and first and second joining parts located on the first side surface to be opposite to each other in a first direction parallel to a ridge line defined by the first surface and the first side surface. The first and second joining parts each include a first portion located on the first side surface and a second portion connected to the first portion to face the first side surface. End portions of the first and second joining parts face each other. A minimum distance between the end portions is greater than twice a width of the second portion in the first direction, and is smaller than a minimum distance between the first portions of the first and second joining parts.
A MONOPILE FASTENING DEVICE
The present invention relates to a monopile fastening system for retaining one or more elongated monopile during sea transport and/or quay transport, which can be used to accommodate monopiles with section having different diameters by the combination of complementary supporting elements that can be singularly activated.
The present invention also relates to a monopile fastening structure comprising a plurality of monopile fastening systems, and to a vessel, a barge or a sea transport unit comprising a monopile fastening structure or a monopile fastening system and to a method for fastening a monopile using a monopile fastening system.
CONTINUOUS-WAVE RADAR SYSTEM FOR DETECTING FERROUS AND NON-FERROUS METALS IN SALTWATER ENVIRONMENTS
The present invention includes systems and methods for a continuous-wave (CW) radar system for detecting, geolocating, identifying, discriminating between, and mapping ferrous and non-ferrous metals in brackish and saltwater environments. The radar system (e.g., the CW radar system) generates multiple extremely low frequency (ELF) electromagnetic waves simultaneously and uses said waves to detect, locate, and classify objects of interest. These objects include all types of ferrous and non-ferrous metals, as well as changing material boundary layers (e.g., soil to water, sand to mud, rock to organic materials, water to air, etc.). The radar system (e.g., the CW radar system) is operable to detect objects of interest in near real time.

OFFSHORE MOBILE PLATFORM FOR ELECTROCHEMICAL OCEAN IRON FERTILIZATION AND HYDROGEN GAS GENERATION
An ocean iron fertilization (OIF) method and system for electrochemically controlled release of iron in an ocean to stimulate growth of phytoplankton to increase CO.sub.2 sequestration by the ocean. The system includes a cathode submerged or floating in the ocean; an iron or iron-producing anode submerged or floating in the ocean spaced apart from the cathode; and a power supply unit connected to the cathode and the anode. The power supply unit drives electric current between the cathode and the anode such the anode generates oxygen (O.sub.2) and ferrous iron through electrolysis to be released in the ocean, and the cathode produces hydrogen (H.sub.2) and hydroxide (OH—) species through an electrochemical reaction at the cathode.

Submerged sailing vessel
Various embodiments of a submerged submersible sailing vessel are disclosed. Such a submerged sailing vessel may comprise a submersible hull assembly, a keel coupled to and extending upwards from hull assembly towards a water surface, and a wind-catching assembly coupled to and extending upwards into the air from the keel for propelling the submerged sailing vessel. The hull assembly and the keel are submerged below the water surface as the vessel is propelled by the wind-catching assembly above the water surface.
Semi-submersible immersed tube transportation and installation integrated ship and construction process
The present application provides a semi-submersible immersed tube transportation and installation integrated ship and a construction process; the integrated ship includes: a deck structure; two floating structures, ballast water being able to be injected therein; and upper portions or top surfaces of the two floating structures are connected by the deck structure; and two support mechanisms, disposed on opposite sides of the two floating structures respectively; and each support mechanism is disposed at a lower portion or a bottom of the floating structure. The integrated ship can reduce the draught of the integrated ship carrying an immersed tube and realize the transportation requirements of shallow waterway.
