METHOD FOR THE PRODUCTION AND FILLING OF AN APPLICATION PACKAGE FOR A LIQUID PHARMACEUTICAL PRODUCT
A method for the production and filling of an application package for a liquid pharmaceutical product. A thermoforming film of thermoplastics laminated together is heated in order to plasticize the film at least in partial areas. Plasticized areas are thermoformed in a mold in order to form a chamber for the liquid pharmaceutical product and a tube-shaped application duct opening into this chamber, with the chamber and duct being enclosed by a non-thermoformed, essentially flat bonding area of the film. The liquid pharmaceutical product is filled into the chamber. The chamber and the application duct are sealed by covering the thermoformed and filled thermoforming film with an essentially flat covering film that is bonded to the bonding area of the thermoforming film enclosing the chamber and the application duct. The thermoforming film is pressed by a forming die during thermoforming into the mold in at least a partial area of the application duct.
Fluid dispensing system with rotatable port assembly
A method of dispensing fluid includes dispensing a first quantity of fluid so that fluid flows through a manifold port assembly and into a first container, the manifold port assembly includes a housing having an inlet port and a plurality of outlet ports formed thereon; and a carousel bounding a plurality of fluid paths that each extend between a first end and an opposing second end, the carousel being rotatably disposed within the housing so that when the first end of each one of the plurality of fluid paths is aligned with the inlet port on the housing, the second end of the corresponding one of the plurality of fluid paths is aligned with one of the plurality of outlet ports. A motor is activated to rotate the carousel of the manifold port assembly to a second position. A second quantity of fluid is dispensed so that fluid flows through the manifold port assembly and into a second container.
Liquid medication dispensing machine
Provided is a liquid medication dispensing machine that can remove a liquid medication from one end of a supply pipe with higher reliability. The liquid medication dispensing machine includes a plurality of supply nozzles located at equal intervals through which liquid medications flow from a plurality of liquid medication bottles containing the liquid medications, respectively, to a prescription bottle. The plurality of supply nozzles are moved sequentially to a supply position where a supply nozzle faces an upper opening of the prescription bottle. The liquid medication dispensing machine further includes a cleaning unit that removes the liquid medication adhering to the supply nozzle. The supply nozzles are moved sequentially to a cleaning position where the cleaning unit removes the liquid medication from the supply nozzle. The cleaning position is provided at a position away from the supply position by a distance smaller than a spacing between the supply nozzles.
Apparatus, System and Method for Fluid Delivery
A filling aid. The filling aid includes a needle housing portion including at least one tab having a starting position and a filling position, and a filling needle cradle including a filling needle, the filling needle cradle slidable connected to the needle housing portion and having a starting position and a filling position, wherein when the at least one tab on the needle housing moves from a starting position to a filling position, the filling needle cradle slides from a starting position to a filling position, and wherein when the at least one tab on the needle housing moves from a filling position to a starting position, the filling needle cradle slides from a filling position to a starting position.
ASEPTIC FILLING DEVICE AND METHOD
A device to package a sterile bulk product, particularly, a dermocosmetic or galenic preparation, into a container. A sterile enclosure of the device includes a hopper containing the bulk product. The hopper includes in an axial direction, a cylindrical reservoir part and a pouring part connected to the cylindrical part. A transfer device transports the container under the hopper to fill the container in a filling zone. A blower provides ultra-filtered air from the ceiling to the floor of the enclosure, to produce a protective flow of air around the filling zone. The axis of the pouring part with an asymmetrical conical shape is not in line with the axis of the reservoir part such that the pouring opening is shifted towards the outer wall of the reservoir.
Devices, systems and methods for medicament delivery
Apparatuses for automatic medicament injection and methods for manufacturing automatic medicament injectors are described herein. In some embodiments, an apparatus includes a housing, a needle, an energy storage member, an actuator, a locking member, and a needle guard. The needle is configured to move between a first position and a second position. In its first position, the needle is contained within the housing. In its second position, at least a portion of the needle extends from the housing. The energy storage member has a first configuration and a second configuration and is configured to produce a force when moving between its first configuration and its second configuration to move the needle from its first position to its second position. The actuator is configured to move the energy storage member from its first configuration to its second configuration. The locking member is movably coupled to the distal end portion of the housing such that the locking member can be moved between a first position and a second position. In its first position, the locking member is configured to engage the actuator to prevent the actuator from moving the energy storage member to the second configuration. The needle guard is removably coupled to at least one of the distal end portion of the housing or a base movably coupled to the distal end portion of the housing.
Wearable device and method for visual image adjustment
According to one embodiment, a system includes a wearable device configured to be attached to a display configured to display a display image. The wearable device features an optical component set featuring a lens, a first user operable member configured to set an adjustment value relating to a projection angle of the visual image, and a second user operable member configured to set an adjustment value relating to at least one of a color tone or a brightness of the visual image. A position of the visual image is changed by adjusting the projection angle of the visual image using the first user operable member so that the visual image is displayed at a position based on at least one of a shape or a size of the head of the user. The color tone or the brightness of the visual image is changed using the second user operable member.
COMBINATION METERING ASSEMBLY FOR FILLING LIQUID PRODUCTS INTO CONTAINERS
The invention relates to a combination metering assembly for filling liquid products into containers. The invention is characterised by a base unit (1) and pump components (3, 4, 5, 6, 11, 12, 13, 14) of at least two different pump types for a metering operation, wherein the pump components of each pump type can be combined with the base unit in order to form a pump system of the corresponding pump type, and the base unit has connection means (19, 23) for this purpose which are compatible with the connections of the pump components. The combination metering assembly can be adapted to different metering situations with little complexity and has a comparably small space requirement.
FILLABLE VAPORIZER CARTRIDGE AND METHOD OF FILLING
Methods of filling a tank reservoir of an electronic cigarette or cartridge for an electronic cigarette with a vaporizable material so that air is not entrapped within the cartridge. In particular, described herein are methods of filing a tank volume of a cartridge for an electronic cigarette from a bottom or side surface opposite a wick so that the wick remains at least partially dry and can vent air during filling until the tank volume is full.
Method and apparatus for manufacturing, filling and packaging medical devices and medical containers
Medical devices such as medical containers can be formed of glass and annealed which produces a clean device having a low bio-burden, or formed by plastic molding which produces a clean device. The clean devices are immediately transferred to a controlled environment such as a clean room or localized area to avoid the need to maintain cleanliness levels in an entire room. Syringe tip closures can be introduced into the housing assembly, where syringe barrels and tip closures are cleaned with filtered ionized air and the tip closures are coupled to the barrels. The syringe barrels can be filled with a substance and a closure member attached. While still in the housing assembly the syringe barrels can be formed into an array and placed in a clean outer container, which is then closed and sealed.
