INFRARED RADIATION TRANSPARENT SUBSTRATES AND SYSTEMS AND METHODS FOR CREATION AND USE THEREOF
Substrates with transparency to infrared body radiation and opacity in the visible light spectrum are provided and systems and methods for creation thereof are provided. The IR radiation transparent substrate is IR radiation transparent and visible light opaque with enough breathability and softness to make it suitable for use in garments for body thermal regulation. Further, the IR radiation transparent substrate is created utilizing nanofiber technology to form specific sized micro pores between the nanofibers.
REFLECTIVE GARMENTS
A garment can include a first fabric panel and a second fabric panel joined to the first fabric panel, the second fabric panel comprising reflective thread, the reflective thread defining a grid pattern including a plurality of first threads parallel to each other and a plurality of second threads parallel to each other and angled with respect to each of the plurality of first threads.
Safety pocket, improved shirt with safety pocket, and method of use
Described herein is an improved work shirt. The work shirt includes sleeves with multipart cuffs capable of being extended to provide a wearer with variable hand coverage via three coverage distances. The work shirt also includes a safety pocket. The safety pocket includes a safety catch integral to and extending from a front wall and includes a top and a safety catch back wall configured into an L-shape where the safety catch back wall extends perpendicular to the safety catch top. The safety catch is movable between open and closed configurations. The closed configuration orients the safety catch top parallel to a pocket base, with the safety catch back wall extending into the pocket parallel to a pocket back wall. The open configuration orients the safety catch top rotated away from the pocket base enlarging the pocket opening.
TECHNIQUES FOR MATCHING AND COMBINING DISTINCT FABRICS INTO A SINGLE ARTICLE OF CLOTHING
A method of matching/combining distinct fabrics into a single article of clothing comprises obtaining a first fabric defining a color pattern, obtaining a second fabric that is distinct from the first fabric, the second fabric being a plain or solid color fabric, using a digital fabric printer to print the color pattern of the first fabric onto the second fabric to obtain a modified second fabric that also defines the color pattern, and combining the first fabric and the modified second fabric into the single article of clothing. The digital fabric printer can also be used to print the color pattern onto the first fabric. The first and/or second fabrics can also be formed using a yarn-dye process. A system for matching/combining distinct fabrics into a single article of clothing includes a yarn weaving/knitting system and/or a digital fabric printer, a fabric combining system, and an optional color pattern analyzer.

Upper garment holding accessory
An accessory used to assist a disabled person to put on an upper garment, such as a coat, sweater or vest with two armholes. The accessory includes a rigid round member and a flexible arm each securely attached to the opposite ends of a rigid elongated base. The round member is configured to vertically support the upper garment when draped thereon and still allow disengagement of the upper garment from the round member when the upper garment is pulled downward. Attached to the distal end of the flexible arm is a clamping member configured to temporarily grip the upper, front edge or the lapel of the upper garment. The flexible arm may be bent and twisted in three axes enabling the upper garment to be stretched and held with its two armholes open and oriented at different locations to accommodate the restricted arm and shoulder movements of different users.
