WEARABLE SENSOR SYSTEM WITH AN ARTICLE OF CLOTHING AND AN ELECTRONICS MODULE, ARTICLE OF CLOTHING FOR A WEARABLE SENSOR SYSTEM, AND ELECTRONICS MODULE FOR A WEARABLE SENSOR SYSTEM
A wearable sensor system has an article of clothing and an electronics module. The electronics module includes a housing, a circuit board, and a contact element. The article of clothing includes a glove, an operational element, and a holder for attaching the electronics module having a receiving space and a mating contact. The guide being configured such that the contact element performs one of a linear movement and a pivoting movement toward the bottom when moving to the final position with respect to the mating contact.
Further, an article of clothing and an electronics module for the wearable sensor system are shown.
Apparatus, systems, and methods for sealing an interface
A protective guard is provided for sealing an interface. The protective guard includes a body having a fluid impervious material and proximal and distal segments that may comprise a superabsorbent or a non-superabsorbent material. The proximal and distal segments are positioned on first and second sides, respectively, of the interface. The protective guard extends about the interface to create a fluid barrier. In some embodiments, the non-superabsorbent material may be an elastic material, such as an elastic band, and in particular embodiments, the non-superabsorbent material may be nitrile. In further embodiments, the non-superabsorbent material may be an expandable material that expands upon contact or interaction with a fluid.
Low friction glove for easy double gloving
An elastomeric article includes a first surface and a second surface which is treated with a friction treatment. The elastomeric article can be a glove in which the first surface is an inner donning surface and the second surface is an outer grip surface. The friction treatment reduces friction on the grip surface of the gloves in order to make it easier to don a second glove on top of the grip surface of the gloves of the present invention. The gloves of the present invention may be used as a first pair of gloves in a double-gloving configuration to conform with safety protocols.
Carboxylic acid-modified nitrile-based copolymer latex composition, preparation method thereof, and latex composition for dip molding including the same
Disclosed is a carboxylic acid-modified nitrile-based copolymer latex composition, including 0.1-10 parts by weight of a reactive emulsifier based on 100 parts by weight of a monomer mixture, wherein the monomer mixture includes 40-88 wt % of a conjugated diene-based monomer, 10-50 wt % of an ethylenically unsaturated nitrile monomer and 0.1-10 wt % of an ethylenically unsaturated acid monomer. Also disclosed are a method of preparing the carboxylic acid-modified nitrile-based copolymer latex composition and a latex composition for dip molding including the same. The carboxylic acid-modified nitrile-based copolymer latex composition reduces generation of foam through the use of a reactive emulsifier different from the conventional adsorption/desorption type emulsifier, thereby preventing degradation of the quality of latex caused by foam. In addition, the carboxylic acid-modified nitrile-based copolymer latex composition avoids a need for introducing a defoaming agent for removing foam or maturation process.
Partial Fingered Gloves for Football or Golf Play
According to the various features characteristics and embodiments of the present invention which will become apparent as the description thereof proceeds, the present invention provides partially fingered gloves and the use of said gloves, intended to increase the overall performance in sports activities including but limited to football and golf. Because of its unique finger configurations, grip enhancers, and/or its hand protective properties, the present invention makes a glove now operable on a football quarterback's throwing hand and on golfers dominant hand, for example.
GLOVE AND METHOD FOR MANUFACTURING GLOVE
An object of the present invention is to provide a glove in which a glove main body and a film are less likely to peel from each other even when a load, especially a torsional load, is applied. A glove according to an aspect of the present invention includes: a glove main body made of fibers; a film which covers at least a part of an outer face of the glove main body and contains a rubber or a resin as a principal component; and an adhesive portion which bonds the glove main body and the film together, wherein the adhesive portion includes: a pressure-sensitive adhesive layer in contact with the film; and an adhesive layer which is in contact with the glove main body and is constituted by a hot-melt adhesive.
Multiuse Glove with Impact Protection and Ratchet
A surface covering the palm, backside, index and other fingers of the hand including a wrist shroud; a repositionable flap attached transversely between the wrist and palm portions of the glove, said flap having a pocket, said pocket holding a plate made of a suitably hard material; a flap securing means allowing the flap to be secured against the wrist when not in use or against the palm of the hand for striking objects; a detachable, reversible ratchet driver disposed along the backside of the index finger in alignment with the long axis of the hand, said ratchet including a cylindrical body, a toggle button forward and reverse mechanism as used in ink pens, ratchet means and a coupler for receiving common tool bits for Philips, flat head, hex, star, Allen, socket and other fasteners of the like.
SEAMLESS POLYETHYLENE BASED DISPOSABLE GLOVES AND METHOD OF MANUFACTURING THE SAME
A seamless polyethylene based glove includes at least 55 wt % of polyethylene. A method of manufacturing seamless polyethylene based disposable gloves includes: forming a curtain of molten polyethylene based material; inserting a plurality of hand molds into the curtain of molten polyethylene based material; and withdrawing the hand molds from the curtain of molten polyethylene based material.
GOLF GLOVE
A back part 8 of a glove 2 includes an inside part 14, an outside part 16, a slit 18, a first belt 12, and a second belt 20. The inside part 14 includes a first fastener piece 26. The first belt 12 includes a second fastener piece provided on a reverse side and a third fastener piece 32 provided on an obverse side. The second belt 20 includes a fourth fastener piece 36. The first fastener piece 26 and the second fastener piece can be engaged with each other. The third fastener piece 32 and the fourth fastener piece 36 can be engaged with each other. The fourth fastener piece 36 and the first fastener piece 26 can be engaged with each other.
Semi-wearable Device for Interpretation of Digital Content for the Visually Impaired
A portable device for translation of digital content on a display into braille includes: a conductive material located adjacent an end of the portable device for contacting a display of a touchscreen device; a microcontroller located on a body of the portable device; a communications module in electronic communication with the microcontroller; and a first braille cell comprising a plurality of movable individual braille elements, the individual braille elements collectively capable of forming braille alphabet letters. The microcontroller receives a command via the communications module to create a braille character on the first braille cell in response to the conductive material contacting the display of the touchscreen device, the braille character corresponding to a character displayed on the display of the touchscreen device at the location the conductive material contacts the display.
