METHOD FOR REPRODUCING POLYESTER CONTAINER AND REPRODUCED POLYESTER CHIP PREPARED THEREFROM
Embodiments relate to a process for regenerating a polyester container and regenerated polyester chips prepared therefrom. The process comprises preparing a polyester container provided with a heat shrinkable film; crushing the container provided with the heat shrinkable film to obtain flakes; and thermally treating the flakes to produce regenerated polyester chips, wherein when the flakes are thermally treated at a temperature of 200 C. to 220 C. for 60 minutes to 120 minutes, the clumping fraction is 5% or less, and the flakes comprise first flakes obtained by crushing the container and second flakes obtained by crushing the heat shrinkable film. It not only solves the environmental problems by improving the recyclability of the polyester container, but also is capable of enhancing the yield and productivity.
Tackifier for lactic acid based hot-melt adhesive

Catalytic composition for preparing PET resin
A catalytic composition for preparing a polyethylene terephthalate (PET) resin is provided. The catalytic composition comprises a polycondensation catalyst and cesium tungsten oxide (Cs.sub.xWO.sub.3-yCl.sub.y), and 0<x1 and 0y0.5. A PET resin prepared by the catalytic composition above is also provided. The PET resin comprises 2-80 ppm of cesium tungsten oxide. This catalytic composition can solve the problems of slow solid-state polymerization rate of the PET preparation and thus the long preparation time, as well as yellowing. Moreover, the PET resin can absorb infrared radiation.
METHOD FOR PRODUCING BIO-PET RESIN
Provided is a method for producing a bio-PET resin derived from substantially 100% a biomass resource, using a raw material derived from a carbon-neutral biomass resource as much as possible in place of a raw material derived from a petroleum resource. Ethylene glycol derived from a biomass resource is polymerized with terephthalic acid derived from a biomass resource in the presence of a catalyst containing an aluminum compound or a germanium compound.
PROCESS FOR PREPARING POLYALKENAMERS FOR PACKAGING APPLICATIONS
The present invention relates to a process for producing cycloalkenamer-containing compositions and to such cycloalkenamer-containing compositions. The invention further relates to the use of these cycloalkenamer-containing compositions in the field of packaging materials, especially for food and drink.
Adhesive compositions with polyesters comprising 2,2,4,4-tetraalkyl-1,3-cyclobutanediol and methods of making the same
Adhesive compositions comprising a polyester polyol that includes residues of at least one 2,2,4,4-tetraalkylcyclobutane-1,3-diol, including, for example, 2,2,4,4-tetramethylcyclobutane-1,3-diol (TMCD). Adhesive compositions may exhibit enhanced properties as compared to conventional adhesive compositions, and may be suitable for a wide variety of end use applications, including, flexible packaging, woodworking, automotive uses, and electronics.
MULTILAYER VESSEL, AND APPLICATION THEREOF
Provided is a multilayer vessel excellent in gas barrier performance and transparency and its application. The multilayer vessel contains a layer (X) that contains at least one type of polyolefin resin as the major ingredient; and a layer (Y) that contains a polyamide resin (A) as the major ingredient, the polyamide resin (A) being composed of a structural unit derived from diamine, and a structural unit derived from dicarboxylic acid, 70 mol % or more of the structural unit derived from diamine being derived from metaxylylenediamine, meanwhile 30 to 60 mol % of the structural unit derived from dicarboxylic acid being derived from straight chain aliphatic ,-dicarboxylic acid having 4 to 20 carbon atoms, and 70 to 40 mol % being derived from isophthalic acid.
POLYESTER RESIN
The present invention relates to a polyester resin. The polyester resin is useful for bottles, sheets, multilayer sheets, stretched films and fiber applications due to excellent heat resistance and transparency, and in particular, the polyester resin has little deterioration of physical properties such as yellowing, etc., during processing
