PACKAGING FILM COMPOSITION RECYCLABLE AND EXCELLENT IN ADHESIVENESS
Disclosed is a packaging film composition recyclable and excellent in adhesiveness, and more particularly to a packaging film composition recyclable and excellent in adhesiveness that is composed of a PET copolymer to secure high adhesiveness and become recyclable, enhancing thermal adhesion and printability of PE- or PP-based films and improving the reprocessability to increase the potential of recycling and to reduce the environmental contaminations caused by the increasing waste plastics.
The packaging film composition recyclable and excellent in adhesiveness is prepared by mixing 100 parts by weight of a PET copolymer, 5 to 120 parts by weight of an ecofriendly plasticizer; 5 to 100 parts by weight of acryl rubber or an acryl-based copolymer and butadiene rubber or a butadiene-based copolymer; and 5 to 150 parts by weight of a thermoplastic polyester elastomer (TPEE) and can be processed by any one method of injection, extrusion, and calendering.
Polymer Composition For Producing Gel Extruded Articles and Polymer Articles Made Therefrom
A polymer composition for producing gel extruded articles is described. The polymer composition contains polyethylene particles combined with a plasticizer. The polyethylene particles are particularly selected so that the particles rapidly form a homogeneous gel-like material when combined with the plasticizer during gel processing. In one embodiment, the polyethylene used to produce the particles has a relatively low bulk density. Alternatively or in addition, the particles can have a carefully controlled particle size distribution. Polymer articles such as fibers and films can be produced having little to no imperfections.
EVA THERMOPLASTIC COMPOUNDS, METHODS THEREOF, AND ARTICLES THEREFROM
Compositions may include a polymer composition prepared from an ethylene vinyl acetate copolymer, a rubber, and a plasticizer. Compositions may further comprise other components, such as a curing agent and a blowing agent. Articles may include a polymer composition prepared from an ethylene vinyl acetate copolymer, a rubber, and a plasticizer. Methods may include mixing an ethylene vinyl acetate copolymer, a rubber, and a plasticizer; and extruding the mixture thereof.
Flame retardant masterbatch composition for foams containing a pH moderator
A masterbatch composition suitable for use as a flame retardant in extruded polymer foams, and process for manufacturing the same, and extruded foams containing same; the composition comprising: (a) 20 to 40 parts by weight base resin comprising styrene homopolymer or copolymer; (b) 1 to 16 parts by weight acid scavenger comprising an epoxy-based compound; (c) 2 to 6 parts by weight antioxidant comprising an alkyl or aryl phosphite; and (d) 45 to 60 parts by weight flame retardant comprising a non-hexabromocyclododecane (HBCD) brominated polymer or copolymer, wherein the amounts of (a), (b), (c), and (d) total 100 parts by weight; and (e) 0.6 to 10 parts by weight of pH moderator, based on 100 parts of (a) base resin plus (e) water soluble pH moderator.
USE OF RARE EARTH AMINO ACID COMPLEX, POLYLACTIC ACID COMPOSITION AND PREPARATION METHOD THEREOF
Provided are use of a rare earth amino acid complex, a polylactic acid composition and a preparation method thereof. The rare earth amino acid complex is formed by complexing a rare earth metal ion with an amino acid; a rare earth element corresponding to the rare earth metal ion is one or more selected from the group consisting of lanthanum, cerium and samarium; and the amino acid is at least one selected from the group consisting of proline, L-phenylalanine, tyrosine and tryptophan.
Resin beads, method for producing resin beads, and product using resin beads
The present invention provides resin beads that can provide various types of products, such as a cosmetic having excellent tactile impression, spreadability on the skin, and transparency, that can be substituted for resin particles composed of a synthetic material derived from petroleum, and that have favorable biodegradability, and the present invention also provides various types of products, such as a cosmetic using the resin beads. The resin beads are formed with a resin containing cellulose as a main component. The resin beads have a cumulative 50% particle size on a volume basis of 50 m or smaller, a degree of sphericity of 0.7 to 1.0, a degree of surface smoothness of 70 to 100%, a degree of solidity of 50 to 100%, and a biodegradation rate for 5 days, as measured in accordance with JIS K6950:2000 (ISO 14851:1999), of 20% or more, and the content of the cellulose in the resin is 90 to 100% by mass. In addition, the present invention provides a product of any one of a cosmetic, a dermatological preparation, a paint, a shaped article, a film, a coating agent, and a resin composition which contain the resin beads.
Method of providing insulation to a structure
The present invention relates to a method of providing thermal and/or acoustic insulation to a structure, comprising the steps of: providing a substrate which comprises fibres; applying the substrate to the structure; blending the substrate with a binder composition before, during or after application of the substrate to the structure; allowing curing of the binder composition after the substrate and the binder composition have been applied to the structure; wherein the binder composition comprises at least one hydrocolloid. The present invention also relates to an insulated structure obtainable by said method.
