Composition for pressure-sensitive adhesive, pressure-sensitive adhesive resin tape, and wire harness
The present invention relates to a composition for a pressure-sensitive adhesive comprising 100 parts by mass (non-volatile fraction) of a main agent comprising a mixture of a natural rubber latex and a synthetic rubber latex, 40 to 120 parts by mass of a rosin-based tackifier resin having a softening point of 130 to 135 C. and 1 to 15 parts by mass of low-molecular-weight polyisoprene having a weight-average molecular weight of 15,000 to 40,000.
PRODUCING A PRESSURE-SENSITIVE ADHESIVE BASED ON SOLID EPDM RUBBER
A process for the continuous and solvent-free production of a pressure-sensitive adhesive based on solid EPDM rubber, the pressure-sensitive adhesive produced thereby, and an adhesive tape containing the pressure-sensitive adhesive. The pressure-sensitive adhesive is produced in a continuously operating assembly in the form of a planetary roller extruder having a filling section and a compounding section, the compounding section consisting of at least two coupled roller cylinders, by
a) feeding the solid EPDM rubber and any further components into the filling section of the planetary roller extruder,
b) transferring the components from the filling section into the compounding section,
c) adding liquid EPDM rubber, plasticizer, tackifier resin, and any further components to the compounding section, and
d) discharging the resultant pressure-sensitive adhesive,
which process comprises feeding the solid EPDM rubber as a melt into the filling section.
REMOVABLE PRESSURE-SENSITIVE ADHESIVE STRIP
Disclosed is a pressure-sensitive adhesive strip comprising a carrier and a pressure-sensitive adhesive compound layer HS1 on one of the surfaces of said carrier, wherein (i) the carrier has a breaking elongation of at least 250% in the longitudinal direction and/or transverse direction, and (ii) the pressure-sensitive adhesive compound layer HS1 consists of a pressure-sensitive adhesive compound which contains, as the base polymer, at least one solid acrylonitrile-butadiene rubber as well as at least one adhesive resin, wherein the proportion of adhesive resin is in total 30 to 130 phr.
METHOD FOR PRODUCING POLYMER LATEX
A method for producing a polymer latex, includes a step of emulsifying a polymer solution of a synthetic polyisoprene and/or a styrene-isoprene-styrene block copolymer, in water in the presence of a rosin and/or a rosin metal salt, thereby obtaining an emulsified liquid, wherein the rosin and/or the rosin metal salt to be used have/has a total content rate of abietic acid, neoabietic acid and palustric acid, and salts thereof, of 5% by weight or less.
Adhesion promoting composition for an anti-corrosion product
An adhesion promoting composition for an anti-corrosion includes about 20% by weight to about 70% by weight of at least one polyolefin selected from polyethylene and/or polypropylene; about 20% by weight to about 65% by weight of at least one butyl rubber; and about 6% by weight to about 35% by weight of at least one elastomer selected from a group comprising ethylene-propylene-rubber and/or ethylene-propylene-diene rubber; each based on the total quantity of the adhesion promoting composition.
OPTICAL CLEAR ADHESIVE COMPOSITION, OPTICAL CLEAR ADHESIVE LAYER, AND METHOD OF FORMING OPTICAL CLEAR ADHESIVE LAYER
An optical clear adhesive composition includes a first polydiene, a second polydiene, a plurality of acrylate monomers, and a photoinitiator. The first polydiene has a first weight average molecular weight of 500 Da to 1500 Da. The second polydiene has a second weight average molecular weight of 50000 Da to 110000 Da. The acrylate monomers include at least two different hydroxyacrylates.
Underwater adhesive from dynamic polymers
Underwater adhesive are provided that include a hydrophobic polymer backbone having periodically embedded dynamic bonding units, where the underwater adhesive has nanophase separation between a first phase of the hydrophobic polymer backbone and a second phase of the dynamic bonding units. The resulting nanophase-separated morphology has clusters of dynamically bonded groups that are protected from water by a surrounding matrix of hydrophobic polymer backbone. This enables a pressure sensitive underwater adhesive with advantages of: no curing needed, reusable, recyclable, and good adhesion strength.
